For some reason I do not see Girona as where they are, and that makes me question how hard this game will be. I get that Girona did very well this season so far and that is why people think that it is going to be good and all that. But that doesn't mean that we are going to see them do as well as they did so far. Real Madrid has always been good, Girona had just one good half of a season and that's it, who knows maybe starting now they will be bad, I really don't have the data.

This is why I think this game is not as dubious as people make it to be, to me Real is the clear winners, but we will end up seeing. La Liga usually won by 2.5 teams, Real or Barcelona (with ATM time to time) so it should be clear that Real will get the win and the title.

Barcelona may still be able to catch up on the points deficit with Girona this week if Real Madrid wins their home match. Currently Girona is trailing 1-0 through Vinicius' goal in the 6th minute, but if Girona manages to end the match with a win then the 6 point gap with Barcelona will likely remain intact.

Girona has a big mission in today's away match against Real Madrid, but I really don't expect them to win the match. Real Madrid have a home advantage that they should not squander, so a win is mandatory for them to lead the standings comfortably. Girona are certainly dangerous, but so far they can't do much and they have failed with the series of attacks they have tried to build.

It is looking that way already because if you look at it, Girona is already falling behind even if they did not win at least they tried even far better than Barcelona this time around the defending champions are now the once defending the fourth position and I was even surprised that they are still in that position, Barcelona did not do well this season at all even aside the points Girona showed much better consistency than Barcelona and from the way things were going it was clear that it is either Girona or real Madrid that will win the la Liga and that is what is happening now. and what they have played recently will even give them more winning mentality and experience, don't be surprised that you see Girona winning this season just because they were prepared.

I'm dedicating my team to watch this highly contested game today between Madrid and Girona. Madrid handed Girona their first loss of the season in September and are currently leading in this match thanks to that Vini's volley.

I didn't place any bets on this one even though the odds were really high. I will just enjoy the game and see who bests the other but if I was taking a bet, it'd be on a Madrid win/draw.
