Luck was a key factor in Real Madrid's win over Valencia. Even with ten minutes to go, Madrid victory was in doubt and the odds were very challenging to bet on, but those who bet on the side won. Both teams were desperate to score early in the match and Valencia took the lead through Hugo Duro in the 27th minute, which put pressure on Madrid and Jude Bellingham penalty miss and offside ruled out Mbappe goal. At the same time, Vinicius' red card caused the team to play against the tide. Madrid equalized late in the match with a goal from substitute Luka Modric and Bellingham's goal in the fifth minute of added time secured the win.
Real Madrid is always very lucky. We have seen Real Madrid make a comeback at the last minute in many matches. And this match was also an exception. I am not surprised at all by the result of the match. However, I would have been happy if Valencia could have earned 1 point. Because Valencia gave their full effort in this match. They were just very unlucky that is why Valencia lost this match.
Valencia was leading until the 85th minute of the match. Real Madrid was able to equalize the match with Modrich's goal in the 85th minute. And Madrid is very lucky that they were able to take the lead in the extra time after 90 minutes with Bellingham's goal. There is no doubt that Madrid played well. However, the performance of Valencia's players was better than we expected.
Real Madrid were still able to get a win after how well things were going for them till when Luca Modric came in and then got a goal which definitely gave them the motivation and then Jude capitalize on a defensive error to get the winning goal. While Valencia will be disappointed they have to admit a slight mistake to Real Madrid can often be a costly one, because they can be really dangerous especially during dying minutes of a match.
However, Vini got a red card in this match. He will not be with Madrid's squad in the next match. Madrid will play against Las Palmas in the next match. This team is in pretty good form right now. Without Vini, it might be a bit difficult to get 3 points against Las Palmas.
To be honest, I'm not really scared of Real Madrid playing without Vinicius Junior like late last year, when they were having some sort of difficult spare. Mbappe and Jude have been getting better and same as other players, so without Vini the game might be more difficult but I still expect a win against Las Palmas.
