I don't sure yet with Atletico Madrid opportunity for winning La Liga trophy in this season although managed well the top standings behind many matches left, last season Real Madrid have bad started at the early but success winning La Liga after games weeks 30 above and its mean any teams still have opportunity with inconsistent performance. Real Madrid have one point remaining awhile from Atletico Madrid and its not difficult reach to first place position if can win the middle weeks postponed match against Valencia.

But Atletico Madrid have solid team in this season and their second composition teams have the same level with the regular position, I think its reason why Atletico become most solid team in this season and not get problem when any important players injury. But predicting early with Atletico Madrid opportunity become the La Liga winner in this season seems not quit well behind few points left from Madrid or Barcelona with La Liga have many matches left.

Barcelona will never extend De Jong contract. What you don't understand is that, Barcelona is broke and their current players have declined in form. Assuming Barcelona has funds, they should buy new players to strengthen the team. Since they are broke and cannot bring in new players, they want to sell De Jong because he is the highest paid, so that they can buy a cheaper player.

I have been trying to understand your post, but I am puzzled now that I reread it. You said that Barcelona is reaping in points nonstop more or less, but at what table are you looking? I have now opened the La Liga table and what I see is that they lost 11 points in the last few games alone. I don't think this is what you are referring to. Then maybe explain for everyone that your analysis suggests Barcelona is doing great and getting points from every game. They are not and they sucked hard in recent weeks and the question remains whether they will be able to get this sorted out or not. Buddy believe is different from reality, I was having this believe as you do but at a time Barcelona performance became a bit poor so as it stands I think the league is open for anyone to be the title bearer most especially Athletico Madrid, Realmadrid and the said Barcelona, no doubt Barcelona points and league position aren't bad but they have to push more harder, we have seen what athletico Madrid has been able to achieve because of consistency and with such performance of theirs, team like Barcelona and Real Madrid has to put up more effort to meet up with them, I don't think that Barcelona will sell any player for now, injury is not death sentence, he will recover and continue from where he stopped, he did very well from the start of the season so laying him off wouldn't be a wise decision unless he doesn't play well for sometime when he finally recover from injury.

2024 is hard year for De Jong because in this year he was very often to get injured and this makes his performance decline which automatically De Jong lost his place on Barcelona starting lineup because most likely Hansi Flick will play other players instead of him for midfielder position

Actually, Hansi Flick is still supporting him and promised a place in Barcelona starting lineup in a condition De Jong should be able to manage his fitness condition but seems this is hard to realize because this year De Jong still unable to reach his top performance again

De Jong has shown his commitment to Barcelona he even willing to extend his contract but Barcelona will only give him new contract which they will lower his salary so the decision is in De Jong's hands whether he will sign the contract or decide to leave
