You're right, it's been a very extraordinary season for Girona, but I don't think Real Madrid and Barcelona will let it last too long. Barcelona failed to win the match against Mallorca which was very surprising, while Real Madrid succeeded in beating Las Palmas with a score of 2-0.

Girona certainly has a chance to take points at home against Real Madrid tomorrow, but I think this is the best opportunity for Real Madrid to reclaim first place from them. Ancelotti certainly had prepared well for the match, especially when he made several player rotations against Las Palmas. Vinicius, Bellingham and Rodrygo look ready to take the 3 points at the Estadi Montilivi, I'm sure.

Very rough game for Betis tonight , with only a few chances so far in the first half and overall a poor football for a poor start of the season. They face Granada a team who has only 4 points and scored only 9 goals so far being at the bottom of the charts but tonight they really play good and they might snatch 3 points from Betis and win the game  

On the one hand, I'm surprised that Girona are at the top of the La Liga points table, and on the other hand, I feel very good about it.
 That's why it's surprising to me that despite top teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona, a mid-tier team is now at the top of La Liga,
and it's nice to think that maybe after a long time we'll see a team other than Real Madrid or Barcelona at the top of the points table.

However, even if they are at the top of the points table for a while, they will not be able to maintain this position for a long time because maybe Barcelona or Real Madrid will have one or two bad matches, but in the matches they will perform consistently, because of which Girona will fall far behind.

That would be their first test against one of the Spanish gaints and if they survive against Madrid then I'll be convinced that they're really prepared for this season and might suprisenly finish in the top four or six this season, bit I dount if they'll win Madrid maybe they might hold them to a draw but losing another match is not in Madrid's agenda currently and they do everything possible to beat Girona.

  Girona have suprisenly kept a very clean record, more than another Laliga team this season, they've won their last 5 matches with only 1 draw and in that case shouldn't be underestimated because they could suprisenly win the game to continue toping the league, Ancelotti needs to be very careful with his choice of formation so as not to make same error he made against Atletico Madrid.

Girona won't fight for the title but the club has a target to stay at the top position this season. Girona is doing its job perfectly since the first week but the consistency is what club looking for. In fact, girona was always become inconsistent when it was entering the mid - end of season. Girona is trying to perform better this season. Some new players were also contributing a lot to the club. Girona is trying to test its performance to compete with barcelona and real madrid at the top of positions but many people are also saying if girona will be going down again at mid - end of season.

It will be so hard for madrid to pass it. I won't deny if madrid has very good record against girona but the current squad owned by girona looked like very strong. Real madrid must have maintained its consistency till the end of season.

It is quite unexpected to see Girona leading the table after 7 rounds without any defeat and a single draw. Barcelona got 2 draws and Real Madrid lost a game once. The draw that Girona took was vs Real Sociedad in the beginning then flawless victories came successively. They will face next Real Madrid in a home game and odds are not in their favor. We will see! I doubt also they could keep that spot after the 8th round.

Even though Girona is on a positive trend at the moment with no defeats in the league, they have yet to face teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid. I admit that I am quite impressed with their impressive play this season but in the match against Real Madrid I think it will be a real challenge for Girona to prove whether they are worthy of competing with Madrid and Barca. If you look at Madrid's previous matches, this will indeed be a difficult match, but still I am sure that Madrid will be able to secure 3 points for this match.

I believe that Atletico Madrid will win the upcoming game against Osasuna because I believe that they are currently in better shape than Osasuna. However, even if Atletico Madrid was not succeed in winning the game, I would not be surprised to see them settle for a draw because I do not believe that Osasuna possesses the necessary talent to defeat Atletico Madrid. I am aware that Osasuna might appear to be particularly strong because it is a home game, but even so, I don't think the team have the strength to defeat Atletico Madrid.
It's going to be a tough match because, given Girona's current form, I doubt they will give Real Madrid much breathing room. Because of this, the game might require something I can't currently predict because both teams are in excellent form, but if I were to compare team performances and judge the match, I might predict a draw but if I had to gamble and back one of the teams, though, I would choose Girona because of their current winning attitude. But we'll wait till the weekend to see what happens.

It's true that I agree that Real Madrid has had a little difficulty winning games this season, several of their key players suffered injuries at the start of the season being the main factor. However, now that Vinicius is available again, the Los Blancos squad will have additional energy on the wings and not be completely dependent on Bellingham. As we know, Madrid really needs an ideal number nine, maybe it will come true in January when the transfer window opens.

But I think otherwise for Madrid next match against Girona, I'm pretty sure Ancelotti squad can beat Girona. Maybe this is the time for Girona to experience their first defeat of the season, it's true that Girona has an unbeaten record and is at the top of the standings at the moment, I think it's natural because they haven't met a tougher team. But Madrid is a nightmare for them, we'll see how the match goes.

They've suprisenly got this far but I don't think they'll be league contender this season, gradually when the league gets more tougher they'll begin to decline in both form and position due to fatigue and quality squad depth, they didn't invest much on quality players that could help them through the season so I don't think they might survive for a very long time,however they've been very impressive so far and I'm suprised at their performance this season,  cause they've won 6 games out of 7 and are currently the league leaders with a point ahead of Realmadrid and Barcelona.

 Realmadrid suffered a defeat in their debut match against  Atletico Madrid and that was their 1st defeat so far but yesterday they won 2-0 against  Las Palmas and their next match would be against Girona on Saturday away from home, i don't think they'll like to take any chances or drop any points again, though Girona are in very good form this season Realmadrid are definitely the favourites to win the match.

They will play a match between Osa and Atletico Madrid this evening. Osasuna drew at home against Sevilla last week and this team has 7 points in total. Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, has 10 points, but in my opinion, the side that is in much better form is Atletico Madrid, which seems stronger this season. They also managed to beat Real Madrid last week. I don't think they will lose three points this week against Osasuna. I don't think Osasuna, who has never beaten Atletico Madrid for years, will defend the Madrid attack much in this match. If they win, Osasuna will be very relieved in terms of points.

Girona and Real Madrid's abilities will be tested next week when they face each other at the Estadi Montilivi stadium. Girona who has performed extraordinary this season, managed to reach the top of the standings, now they are one point ahead of Real Madrid and two points ahead of Barcelona. This match is very important for both teams, especially Girona who acts as host, victory will further widen Girona gap with Real Madrid.

The game between Osasuna and Atletico Madrid to night is going to be another thrill in laliga as Atletico just got a win recently and would want to keep the records  although they are not at home they will be hosted by osasuna but then it's a game that they must put in their best to get a possible win as osasuna is not a possible good fit against Atletico Madrid.

Osasuna have a very poor record as they have also lost a game at home this season and had only a single win so far. Over the weekend they also had a draw with Sevilla at home show how weak they could be, so it's very possible Atletico in all it's form could get a win against osasuna in their home this evening not minding the advantage.

Atletico Madrid happens to be at the seventh position on the table with only ten points and osasun have seven points so they are more like a win away from Athletico Madrid. In the last five games, Atletico Madrid has won three lost one and drew one. A fair result to be reconciled with and they have aswell not lost any game at home this season.

I don't think Girona will fight for the title. Girona may be playing very well right now, top of the points table. But it is very difficult to maintain such consistency until the end of the season. It won't be possible for a team like Girona. Perhaps in the next few weeks we will start to see the deterioration of Girona.

Real Madrid are trying to grab the top spot in the points table. They are only 1 point ahead of Barcelona. If you want to keep the top spot in the table, you have to win every match consistently. Barcelona team is strong. And so if Real Madrid can't maintain consistency, they won't be able to hold the top spot in the table. Madrid will not think about anything other than a win against Girona in the next match.

Carlo Ancelotti is a very experienced football manager and he demonstrated once again how tactically rich he is with his ideas yesterday with the changes he made in that win against Las Palmas. Omitting the club's best player since the start of the season in the person of Jude Bellingham and still got all three points from the game tells of his how good he is.
Good to see that Vinicius Jnr is back to action again after being sidelined with injury and surely his return will further strengthen the team and result going forward.

If we look at Real Madrid's overall matches this season, it seems like they have never won in a convincing way even though the opponents they have faced are quite weak.
They deserved the victory against Las Palmas because these two teams have quite a significant difference in quality, but it must be admitted that even though they won, the performance of the Real Madrid team was still not satisfactory.
In the next match, Real Madrid will face Girona, I think it will be a very difficult match and it is possible that Real Madrid will suffer another defeat because Girona is currently in very good form, and this is in contrast to Real Madrid which has a lot of problems.

Wow, if this is really happen, then I'm sure the punishment will be very severe for Barcelona. But yes, I'm surprised about an incident like this because after all, basically Barcelona is a big team with lots of talented players.
