It’s not that I’m completely disagreeing with you thinking that football is entirety about having good players but relying on one match only which is not even official to determine future results of next season . There are several factors to consider in these cases including tactical gameplay and team cohesion. Barcelona's coach Xavi shows promising career with Barcelona that we agree while in my opinion Ancelotti should retire soon from Real Madrid and find a new better coach that will use the players in a good way and show us the true White House power. Both teams have things to improve to compete in the UCL this year. This match i have seen that Real Madrid played better but Barcelona knew how to win and score 3 goals.

Diego Simeone has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that his Atletico Madrid side is capable of winning the La Liga even when they're least expected to win it ahead of the serial winners which are Real Madrid and Barcelona.
However, considering their current squad and their less involvement in this summer's transfer window, I think winning the La Liga would be a very difficult task for them next season. Finishing in the top four looks certainly a possibility but it'll be difficult to see them win the league

It would be better for Atletico Madrid to start off with a clean slate after this season. I mean it depends on how they will perform in this season of course. I don't think the lack of instinct is an issue for them when it comes to building a squad that is worthy of being a strong contender for the title race. They know what is needed to be up against Barcelona and Real Madrid for a whole season. Consistency, consistency, consistency.
