Every player has the end of his career in a club and the club management has the right to look for the replacement for the player if they think the player has no longer worth it to extend his contract. Yes, that's right, in this case, whoever loses then he will enter the relegation zone. In case of Benzema's departure I wonder with whom Real Madrid are planning to fill his space at the team. I don't think it will be Rodrygo because I don't see him as a consistent striker now. In fact, he isn't even a natural forward player. He is more of a winger and his natural position is already right wing. In cases of Benzema's absence we have seen Rodrygo in his position in the lineup.

But this can't go on like this for Real Madrid if they want to bring back the good old days. They will need to be ready to sacrifice a great deal of money to sign a top striker this summer. Some players like Haaland are target strikers, his aim is to score goals, Lewandowski is known like that too, some players are a bit more pivot, they like to get the ball and pass, some players are false 9, which means they are not purely like a striker, they distribute to wingers that come from the sides, but Benzema type of players are complete forwards, he can pass, he can help the wingers, he can score, he can do anything that needs to be done, is he a better scorer than lewandowski?
