I do not think that the calibre of footballers that Barcelona has are the Champions League standard. There is no doubt they have good players but I do not think that their squad will be able to match Manchester City squad. It could be a right thing to do for Barcelona to make some selling of players and buy 3 strong characters to strengthen the team. If they are not comfortable with this, they can initiate the Messi come back and it will be a great boost. They just need a new and different experience in the team to give them Champions League spirit.

If referring to what you said, and if i had to choose i prefer it to Joshua Kimmich. this player is very creative, he can be a good pivot for barcelona. or, it could be Gundohan. because, if Gundohan does not renew his contract with City. that means, Barcelona can bring him for free. even though he has entered 32 years, his work ethic need not be doubted. for Messi, I wouldn't assume much. however, if he does return to Camp Nou, it is likely he will be on the wing. or if Xavi has another system, Messi can be played as a playmaker. for sure, before Barcelona bring in newcomers. Laporta must first solve the financial problems they are facing.

Putting Atletico in front is because Atletico will play at home, so it doesn't mean Atletico will win completely. Also, there is nothing to fix about Atletico's position but the truth is, Atletico just need to defend their position and at least that is true for Real Sociedad.

Bellingham will be a great complement to Madrid. it could be a new force on the front lines of Madrid. I'm not sure how Rodrygo and Bellingham will play in that position together. or maybe both can be a support for Benzema who is unlikely to move quickly anymore. or vice versa, Benzema can open up space for both of them to be more productive next season.
I think Barcelona must prepare their goal machine to compete with Madrid next season. because Madrid certainly does not want this season to happen again next season.
