As far as I know, Ancelotti is a coach who rarely plays young players while he is at AC Milan and I see him still like that IMO. This is what makes Milan fail to regenerate players. If Ancelotti still maintains this, even Madrid have talented young players in their academy, I think it will be useless. He must be able to imitate the style of Rijkaard, Guardiola, Ferguson, Wenger who dare to give opportunities to players who have quality and are still young. Madrid also may not always have money. Because spending on their players is the same as Chelsea and Barcelona in the last few seasons, both are currently experiencing financial problems.

Ancelotti is that type of thing, he always wants to keep his very old players in the team, but I think he must have had his reasons for doing so. Jorge Messi as Lionel Messi's father and agent has denied all rumors about an agreement with Al-Ittihad or any team including Barcelona, seems Lionel Messi still not have reach personal agreement with any teams yet until his contract expiry few months later with PSG. My excitement with Barcelona is that they try to increase their achievement each season. I believe next season will be much better and strategic for Xavi. I never expected Xavi to start making so much waves in Barcelona immediately, I know it will definitly happen but it will take time and process.

Barcelona are currently at the top of La Liga. But on the other hand, Atletico Madrid beat Real Madrid and moved to number two in the points table. Atletico Madrid are working hard to do well in La Liga. But I think Real Madrid will come back with a great performance.

But apart from all that, I personally really appreciate Xavi, because since Xavi became coach of Barcelona, in fact Barcelona has been very good for results in La Liga. Even though Xavi hasn't been able to deliver great results in Europe, but I think so far Xavi has been good enough in building Barcelona to have a very good performance in the domestic league.

We shouldn't forget Ancelotti has been in the coaching business long before Xavi became Barcelona Manager. I mean growth is gradual. Last season Xavi lost out of the Europa quarter finals to Frankfurt but yet he took the club to second position which gave them ticket for this season CL group stage even though they didn't make it through that stage.
