I would guess that Lewandowski is not doing as well as people hoped he would because of two reasons. First of all he is definitely getting older, and that shows, he is not as fast as he used to be and even though e was never really super fast, he was at least quick to do stuff and he was always a smart person and when his quickness fades, his moves do not sit well.

Secondly Barcelona is a different team than Bayern, we are talking about a team that has been built and established for nearly a decade now for Lewandowski to be that good, compared to a team that is barely new, Barcelona built this team this year, sure there are some players from last year but a lot of them are new. So it may take a while for him to be that good again, maybe won't ever be.

The gap was just getting bigger 1 point. I think that the result from the previous match was not meant a lot for both of clubs. Nothing change and barcelona is still leading the way. Having 1 point gap more looks good. That means real madrid needs to have more 5 wins against barcelona. It will be impossible to be won by real madrid.
