I agree with you that Real Madrid is the best club in Spain but you should also take note of this, that each time Barca and Real Madrid are clashing, Barca is a challenge to them especially during the season of Messi and Ronaldo. These two players made El-Clasico very hot. Presently I don't see Real Madrid passion to win the match, maybe I am wrong. Barca will win the Laliga and I don't think that there is any hope for Real Madrid because it is impossible for Barca to be in a bad form to the extend of giving up the league. Real Madrid already are in a league that they know how to play better,so let them stay focus on that and forget about Laliga. Next season could be a better one for them.

Madrid is indeed the strongest team from Spain but it looks like this season it seems difficult for Madrid to catch up with the distance of 12 points if Barcelona continues to be on the winning track in the remaining matches of the Spanish league this season, I think Madrid is more focused on the UCL so it doesn't focus too much on the league at the moment, madrid is of course a club that is always dangerous for barcelona but for now only barcelona knows how to beat madrid.

Who knows maybe they might even take the second spot from Real Madrid before the end of the season.

One thing is certain that it won't be easy though.

I remember very well, when Barcelona started this season, being held to a draw by Rayo. then, stumbling in the Champons League, falling in the first El Clasico meeting. as a Barcelona fan, I am quite disappointed and even tend to be lazy to watch when they play their matches. not infrequently, even though they won the matches. that in truth, their game is a complete mess. so, it can be said that they are often benefited by luck.
but, in the second half of the season. after the world cup was over, Barcelona showed quite a different game. in particular, Gavi started playing more calmly, supported by two pivots namely, Busquets and De Jong. Barcelona's game is more organized, tiki-taka is starting to make a comeback although Lewandowski says that strategy is outdated and Barcelona must adapt to a higher game. but at least, as a Barcelona fan I quite enjoy it when they go through their matches even though they are knocked out by United. however, they actually played pretty well. even so, Barcelona cannot be said to be perfect. in fact, i would say it still has many flaws and weaknesses. but at least, it's better now.

On the other hand, Madrid which was fine at first. even impressed, this season they will also win the La Liga trophy. but along the way, Benzema's injury affected the team's performance. plus, the departure of Casemiro unknowingly had quite an effect on the performance of the Madrid midfield. although Ancelotti has other options, such as Tchouameni. however, his presence has not been able to replace the role and experience that Casemiro has.

That's exactly what Toni Kross said a few weeks ago when they lost the game against Barcelona with a 2-1 result while they had fewer opportunities and less control over the game however Barcelona still couldn't use two key players Dembele and Pedri, I think the only thing Real Madrid can do is to take every possible point and make the way harder for Barcelona, nothing else.

I would love nothing more to see Barca losing the title and Real getting it but I'm realistic and I don't see any chances left for Real to actually make a difference in title fight. Barca is well aware of this and whenever they have this gap in LaLiga , they tend to make it even bigger because they rarely make mistakes that could cost them 3 points. Real ...they are all in for UCL trophy race so losing some points here and there in LaLiga will be fine from them.

Real Madrid is 12 points behind Barcelona. And right now the gap of 12 points is huge. It is very difficult to reduce this gap by 12 points. Even then, the Real Madrid team will not give up. Xavi has done a great job this season. He has been able to stabilize the Barcelona team. Barcelona's team was almost in shambles under Koeman. But now Barcelona's performance is stable. It is impossible to expect Barcelona to lose in four of the remaining 12 matches, Barcelona appearance this season has been extraordinary, of the 26 games played, they have won 22 times, drawn 2 and lost 2 times. Even though Real Madrid performed well the rest of the season and they managed to win several wins in the remaining matches, it was difficult for them to catch up on the points that Barcelona had collected because their performances were very consistent. Real Madrid must try again next season to lift the La Liga trophy, this season they must give up the trophy to Barcelona.

Madrid is far behind in La Liga. Unless Barcelona loses form badly, Madrid has no chance of topping the table. Xavi has a very big expectation to win la liga this time and barcelona is even closer to it. It seems like that barcelona will be fully focused to build the squad for UCL next season. La liga is good but it's not as good as UCL trophy. So many elite clubs compete to get UCl.


Madrid is still having copa del rey. Even though madrid was losing in aggregate against barcelona and it seems possible for madrid to beat barcelona in camp nou. This gonna be a huge challenge for real madrid how to beat barcelona in the next el classico.
As far as i know that if xavi is always using defensive strategy against real madrid. Madrid shall do the same thing like that. Even though the game will be running passive but that will force barcelona to play offensive too.

Madrid shall have learned from what already happened in the previous match against barcelona.
