For me, Real Madrid is no longer the favorite winner in La Liga. Now, it is clear that Barcelona is the favorite for the champion, they are leading with 9 points. Moreover, Barcelona has been eliminated from Europa League, they focus on La Liga matches only. So, the chance for Barcelona to win La Liga title is much higher than Real Madrid this season.

Real Madrid may perform well in UCL, but it won't impact their position in La Liga standings. Instead, their focus will be separated because the match in UCL will be tighter. It will be worse if there are some key players to get injured. So, Ancelotti must be very careful to rotate the players.

Real Madrid's performance in Europe this season has been impressively superb and as matter of fact, they've been backed by bookmakers to go all the way and retain the universal's most coveted trophy in club football.
But saying they are the favorites to win the Spanish La Liga is a big slap on the face of Barcelona who I think is going to do anything possible to win the domestic title thus season.

Real Madrid is great club that has great footballers but I don't see them lifting the league at the expense of Barcelona

Atletico Madrid are like this for two seasons. They aren't able to maintain a good season for a long time and they start to play better in the late times of the season which helps them finish the season in top 4 at least.

This must be just unacceptable for a team like Atletico Madrid. They are having even a worse season than the last one also by the way. Maybe they are in the third place in the standings now but they are in no title race plus they were very bad in the Champions League also. They said goodbye to the Copa del Rey early too. In a season like this, finishing the La Liga as the third team won't make them successful at all. They really need a subtantial change and this should be with Simeone's being sacked.

Barcelona is already winning on this whole thing and, without a doubt, the isn't gonna be a possibility that Madrid could maneuver across and get the El classico trophy as they've been given too much of a difference between Thier point as you said.
On the other hand, I think Xavi will have to pair pedri along with Gavi, Pablo Torre and de jong if he must have a solid midfield...other proper arrangements could be made depending on the formation setting, but I'm sure Xavi won't let pedri play for a full time.
