Unexpected ... really unexpected.

Despite we knew that atletico madrid well known as a club with negative football applied into their playing style that often produce very few goals like 1-0 or 2-1 at tops , i look into both atletico and girona last three matches it shows both being aggressive by scoring a lot of goals in their recent matches , i bet on over 2.5 and turned into the dust lol.

Dramatic win for atleteco Madrid against girona with a goal scored by morata in the 90th minute of the match, girona wasn't an easy oppenet and they played very well especially in the first half but atleteco was more efficient, with this win atleteco improved their 3rd position with 3 points gap from sociedad while girona stay in the 12 place with 30 point

Considering the current performance of Atletico Madrid, I believe Atletico Madrid will win this match. They played very well in the last 5 matches, Depay has shown his important role in Atletico squad now. Today, Depay and Griezmann can play together in Atletico attacking line. that was a tough one, I didn't underestimate ATM but I knew Girona are not that easy of a team to beat, especially at their home stadium, and it was really tough for Atletico Madrid, Morata saved them minutes away from the end of the match, ATM dominated the first half, but Girona had other things to say in the 2nd, and we saw the opposite.

That was a very poor performance for Atletico. They found positions but both Depay and Griezmann couldn't use them well. Finishing was a big problem for Atletico. They still won the game in last minute goal with Morata. He was the savior again. I said last minute but game extended ten more minutes. LOL I'm still not used to such long extra times.
Honestly Girona players never believe to win this game. They played like one point is enough for us. Sometimes these middle caliber teams get scared of major clubs but in the end it's just a name. The game is still 11 vs. 11. You have to believe in yourself first, the game is won in the mind first, then in the field.

Actually the first half was quite in favour of Atletico Madrid as they created many goal opportunities. Ball possession was also in favour of them but this superiority didn't bring any goal to them.

We are in the last thirty minutes of the game now and it is still going on 0-0. Girona look like they have made the game more balanced in this half. This is really dangerous for Atletico Madrid considering how capable Girona in attacking. I would have expected Atletico Madrid to be more effective about scoring after watching that Sevilla game. But there is still no goal and they might even lose this.

It was obvious that Barcelona would get the win, I know that people are expecting a bit more closer games and a bit more fun in the league so forth but the reality is that Barcelona may have lost in UCL and then lost in Europa which made people question how good they are but they are still pretty good at La Liga for sure.

This is bilbao we are talking about, not Inter, not Bayern, not United, it's bilbao we are talking about here and it would be pretty disappointing if they lost to Bilbao. Which is why I think expecting wins from these type of games shouldn't really be a worry for them and they should be doing as well as hoped for if you ask me.

Fourty minutes deep in the first half and the score remain 0 0 in girona vs atletico game, in this first half atletico are dominating and they were so close to scoring on multiple occasions am afraid they gonne regret wasting so many chances since girona is a good team that can score at any moment in my opinion.

So far the Girona - Atletico Madrid match has been quite balanced and I'm not surprised with that at all.

Because Girona aren't one of the teams that Atletico Madrid can underestimate. Atletico Madrid need to focus on their game as much as possible to win this. They have a really improved level of morale after that unexpectedly incredible win over Sevilla. They are showing a positive look against Girona thanks to that so far. But they need to make use of their chances as much as possible. Girona are one of the effective attacking teams in the league. They have the same amount of goals with Atletico Madrid in the league now. They can punish Atletico Madrid hard if they have that opportunity.

You're not the only one who says this, but even I can say Real Madrid fans will admit it. All of this is inseparable from how Xavi builds his team's confidence both in defense, midfield and attack. Barcelona's goal productivity is not higher than that of Real Madrid, in fact Barcelona has won 11 matches with a single score this season including the away game against Bilbao yesterday.

The conditions for Napoli really couldn't be stopped but for Barcelona I was expecting something else even though at the moment 9 points are still very large. My hope is still the same for Madrid, even though this seems imposing and tends to be impossible, but I still hope that Madrid's condition will return to its original state. On the other hand, of course, the hope is that Barcelona will suffer several defeats in the remaining matches.
