Barcelona more promising with La Liga tittle this season than Real Madrid indeed 7 points left on current standing position, but left many matches and Barcelona have match against Real Madrid in La Liga and potential make points close. Barcelona opportunities in this season with tittle left in La Liga and Copa del rey have against with Real Madrid on semifinal.

The difference in points between two equally strong teams makes it difficult to make the points equal. That's my point of view. There is more on the line for Barcelona than there is for Real Madrid. In the last couple of years Real Madrid saved the season by winning the Champions League whereas Barcelona's last CL win will soon be a decade ago. That's why the minimum goal for them must be to win La Liga. If Real Madrid wins the Champions League only, they are fine with it and it was a successful season as they prefer to extend their record breaking lead in that statistic. As you can also see Barcelona can lose games against a team like Almeria. Now losing against Real Madrid would mean a lot of additional pressure in every game afterwards.

Barcelona has fallen in European competition and is only focused on La Liga and also the Copa Del Rey it is very possible for Barcelona to win it we have seen how this team is better in LaLiga than any other competition this can still be maintained as a prestigious title race for them too.

Barcelona have lost a game in the competition over the weekend for the first time in a long time. Something like that can happen, I don't think we should be too difficult about it. I would say that whenever it is about el classico, it is not going to be a simple solution, anything could happen, nobody expected barça to win 4-0 on their worst season, and yet they did, those type of unexcepted stuff could happen in el classico in any game.

Why would history be any good predictor for the games to come? Just look what's really important. Barcelona has a couple of very painful injuries. Now what is history worth when so many conditions are not the same?
