We can still give some credits to Real Madrid in this season compared to other top clubs in the international leagues in the last season but are underperforming in an alarming level this season.
At least Real Madrid only lost a few games and won some but in entirely,  Real Madrid needs to do more to be able to retain their title this season, because we have some clubs like Barcelona who are following in behind and their are ready to take over the 1st spot I this season.

I disagree, Real is not "that" bad this year, it's just that Benzema had one of the most epic seasons of all time, and he scored so many very important goals, it wasn't just the quantity of the goals he scored but more about the quality and importance of his goals.
