What a night for El Derbi Madrileño as Real Madrid beat Atletico Madrid 3-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. In the first half there were so many mistakes made by the Real Madrid players, especially Valverde, Kross and Mendy who often gave wrong accurate passes to their friends so that in the end they had to fall behind to Alvaro Morata's goal in the 19th minute. Benzema caught Raul's record after scoring a goal against Bilbao last week. He is the second most goalscorer in Real Madrid history, along with Raul. He set a tremendous record. He remained in Ronaldo's shadow for years. But now he has made himself accepted by everyone in Real Madrid. He did very well to set an individual record at Real Madrid, meaning he became the second player to score as many goals and surpassed Raul's previous record after Cristiano Ronaldo. Moreover, he is still an active player in the Real Madrid squad.
If he can maintain his current condition for another 1 or 2 seasons, I believe he will probably reach the goals scored by Cristiano Ronaldo. Because seeing his current condition he can still be relied on in Real Madrid's games, unless Real Madrid doesn't want to continue his collaboration.

You're right, the Madrid Derby is always a tense contest. When it counts most, Athletico Madrid fails, such as in the Champions League. They blew not one but two opportunities to change the course of history. However, props to Real Madrid for rallying to secure the victory in overtime.

To witness Modric take on the role of leader and mentor to the team's younger players is a joy to behold. Real Madrid's 61% possession compared to Athletico's 39% is remarkable. That exemplifies Real's command of the situation. I'm happy Real won since it was a fantastic game to watch

I don't think is that anonymous and hard to find for the police.Police usually have much more better tools than those persons doing the racist acts so if this have happened several times I think that there is something wrong with the people there if no legal action is taken.

Nevertheless great players such as him are also great persons in real life and this calm that he has showed consistently toward such acts just honors him more,players like this are not a coincidence that are playing with Real Madrid.

It definitely would rattle any player to see something like that. And I must applaud him for keeping his cool as he didn’t let that incident affect his abilities. No player should have to go through acts or show of discrimination and/or violence.

It’s a good thing the Spanish authorities have opened an investigation cause the offender/s must be responsible for their actions. It’s a good thing he kept his composure. Personally, I think the win over Atletico Madrid is the perfect response to the disgusting and irresponsible act that was displayed.

Real Madrid is back in style. They are doing poorly in some matches, but they have the ability to bounce back and they have. They managed to beat Atletico Madrid by a huge margin.

It must be said that Atletico also played some strange soccer. Morata certainly did well, but we need to score more, and ask for a red card for the opponents and then say after the match that again refereeing errors prevented us from winning. Real Sociedad you rooted for lost to Barcelona, not because they are favorite but because they had a red card and playing 10 against 11 is very difficult especially a team like Barcelona.
