Barcelona has won major trophies over the years and that, infact has kept them grounded -- to a point that even a mere super cup won't do much harm if it's lost for El Madrid, but that's not gonna happen anyways.
It's a probably fair competition so far... Madrid has got a concrete squad that sometimes I thought they've got slimmer chances of loosing, but it happens that they lost to Villarreal and kept on struggling the rest of their time on a game with Valencia yesterday -- and it yielded only a single point for them as it ended 1:1.
I don't know if the confidence that anyone would claim to have, really matters at this point -- cus the least, unexpected happenings could lead to any of the two going home with the trophy.

Seeing Sevilla at the bottom of the table is not a good sight at all. I am really surprised at the performance level of Sevilla this season. At the beginning of the season they were humiliated by Arsenal in the preseasons but I thought it was the preseasons and they will be better in the main league games but they have remained the same until now. Sevilla needs to improve to turn the season around or risk been relegated and that will not be good for the club.

He literally scored and appeared on the score sheet but one of them goal was called off by var to be offside, this is not much of a great performance from Barcelona though especially in midfied as they're a bit sloppy with the introduction of Busquet.
Robert Lewandoski was missing in the game against Athletico Madrid but he'll be back against Re Madrid when they face themselves in the finals. I think those three match suspension are just meant for the La Liga and not Super Cup games as this tonight.

Even when we thought it is over Real Betis still put up fight and stretched the match to extra time and it is now 120' and the score is 2:2. My concerns is Betis playing with one man red carded may not be able to survive till the final wistle than will lead to penalty shoot out.
If Barcelona is eventually eliminated in this match, it will be just Laliga that will be their focus for this season because the Europa League is not that sure for them.

But Real Betis were able to equalize at 1-1. Looks like this fight has become more difficult than I imagined. However, several opportunities that Barcelona have still make me optimistic that Barcelona can win this match. although now there is very little time left. It looks like Atletico Madrid have only the Copa del Rey to achieve something this season. But it has been like ten seasons since the last time they won this cup. They need Barcelona and Real Madrid out of this tournament to increase their chance to win the cup. Simeone is really desperate this season as their Champions League performance was a fiasco. They haven't been good in the La Liga at all as well. The team are really hungry for achievements as a result.

It seems that Barcelona is playing with their main starting line-up so it is clear, Barcelona really want to win this match with 90 minutes of normal time. That is unlike yesterday's Real Madrid which was decided on penalties, because ending the match with 90 minutes will also be good for maintaining the fitness of the players.
So yes, with the available odds it can be seen that Barcelona are the favorites to win and then Xavi plays his main squad so I think Barcelona will win from the half time.
