I don't see Villarreal's performance dropping drastically, because even in terms of position they only dropped 2 ranks from the previous season. That means they are still a team that can be said to be stable, even though they have experienced a decline, it is not a significant decline. Since October Villarreal hasn't performing well and from their last 7 matches in La Liga they got 4 loses from it that this is not good for them and the situation are getting worse after Villarreal have to changed coach because Unay Emery has decide to left this team and joined to Aston Villa and this is quite risky for them because i was often to see there was a club who changed manager in the middle of competition but it cannot solved their problem and indeed Villarreal has got new manager Quique Setién and he might be can overcomes Villarreal performance later but i personally a bit doubt he can able to do that because his achievements doesn't so well even last time i heard he got sacked while train Barcelona

For title race still it's not easy to predict because we have nearly 24 matches and these are enough for having changes in positions and fortune for every team even Barcelona is at top and their quality and performance is surely going to have no effect after this break as their all players are fit and good.

I am also sure that Barcelona will win the La Liga trophy this season. so far madrid is still struggling with who is the best figure to replace benzema, we know that benzema is injured and it is difficult for him to play in the match which will madrid face and that makes it difficult for madrid to win. Losing Emery also for their helmsman makes them worse off in my opinion because they are like chickens that have lost their mother at this time.It is difficult for Villarreal to get back to good form now because the new coach clearly has to make a scheme from the start with Villarreal's condition which is not too good.
