Barca has dense squad now and even with four players out, I think they will be able to put good squad against Mallorca. The difficult part is that three days later they have game against Inter in CL and that is very important for them if they want to keep good chances of advancing to the next stage. Xavi has to make some tough calls here.

Xavi having a big problem for his players as his key players hot injured when called up for international duty. It's sad to see the catalans having numerous players injured especially defend line. Kounde and Araujo are the main players for Xavi's defend, although he would cope without them and they will missed the tough games like the El Classico which is behind the corner. I couldn't believe when I saw it on the news that barcelona players got injured in their respective international games.

I think with Xavi's experience, this is not a big problem. Considering the depth of the Barcelona squad this season is very good. For example, Dempay's position is not a core striker, he is only a substitute for Lewandowski and his position can still be replaced by players who are no less great than him, such as Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres. It's times like this that we never see Barcelona play. I mean all this time we watched Barcelona with their core players, and that made it easy for them to dominate and win the game. And if that's true for Barcelona (losing a few key players) we'll see how deep the strength of their squad goes. That's absolutely correct! Barcelona needs to do everything possible to get back to the Barcelona of old with Xavi Hernandez Inesta and Busquet, especially having two chance's and converting those two chance's into goal.

They need to step up them game, especially ahead of the next champions league fixture with Bayern Munich. The first leg showed they played better but couldn't win all because, they didn't take those two good chances they had. ( Both from Robert Lewandoski and the Spanish youngin Pedri )

Did you see their game against Bayern Munich then? They don't need to improve anything, if you look at the game you will see that Barcelona dominated the game. What they lacked in their performance against Bayern was luck. We can see an example from some of the chances that Barcelona had, such as Lewandowski not being able to score a goal even though the distance between him and the GK was very close. In addition there are several other golden opportunities that they missed.
