Because even, I didn't get any notes or info about the injuries they suffered in the match, they seem to have only been substituted considering they will be playing against Barcelona in the next match. I think it's natural that they were substituted in a match, they should have a long rest for a better recovery, it doesn't mean they are substituted they are injured. Cheesy

I haven't seen any news that Rodrigo and Ferland Mendy are injured or that they will miss the match against Barcelona. If the news was true then maybe we would have already seen it on several websites. However, if these players are really injured and miss the match against Barcelona, then the road to victory for Real Madrid will be difficult. Barcelona is a strong team now. If we look at Mallorca's very poor form in the last few matches, it doesn't surprise me if Mallorca is finally defeated by Real Madrid with a pretty

This is the second El Clasico meeting this season.

Real Madrid were the favorites in this match and they won. I don't think the Mallorca team is strong. Real Madrid had beaten Mallur 6-1 in the previous match as well. With Benzema and Vinicius in form, any La Liga opponent is weak for Real Madrid. Real Madrid are 10 points ahead of second-placed Sevilla on 3 points this month. It's a shame that this victory had to be bittersweet because an important player was injured which will be needed during El Clasico, but I admit that Benzema became the main target in this game by scoring two goals and being on-fire had to rest due to the injury he suffered natural then I think this requires serious medical.
But I still believe Real Madrid can overcome this even though Benzema can't play later it will be very happy if Vinicius can still play later.

Even the amazing part about what Barcelona is doing is that they were literally looking like they were missing UCL by the start of the season on like first 10-15 weeks. Now they are 1 game and 5 points behind second team.

So, if they win that extra game, they will be only 2 points behind Sevilla and that means just one loss from Sevilla (plenty of hard games left for them) would mean that Barcelona could end up becoming second. That is really a huge accomplishment that nobody saw coming. I have to be honest, I really wanted Xavi to be their new manager and I believed that they would get better when it happened, but even I didn't expected it to be this great.

The knock on Benzema does not appear to be serious, and according to the sources I read, he will be available for the El Classic match. It was the best decision to take him off in the first place; I had no idea why the coach used him he had been involved in too many games in the previous weeks, and he needed a rest; they can't afford to lose him at this time of the season.
