The difference is not a lot but the domination by Real shows that if they really fight for the title then the difference would have been higher already. It is obvious that Real Madrid sees the league is something they have already won and they do not care about anything at all.
I have to say that they could be wrong, seeing Sevilla as the closest team could make you a bit easier in mind instead of like ATM or Barcelona, but if you just underestimate your opponent than you may get upset when they are closer or even higher and then you may try harder and still fail and it will be too late.

And both of my predictions about the Real Madrid - Alaves and Espanyol - Sevilla games came true. Real Madrid didn't have any problem on defeating Alaves by 3-0. Barcelona literally destroyed Valencia today. I was waiting for them to win actually but my expectation was like a win by a one-goal difference. But they surprised me a lot by bringing the score to 3-0 already in the first half and they won by 4-1 also. It was a great day for Aubameyang too as he started scoring. He scored two of these goals and made a really good start at its new team. This was really important for him psychologically as he would regain his self-confidence now. He is still a good striker and he can contribute very much.
a very deserved win for Barcelona, currently they are very prolific to score despite last week's result against Napoli who were only able to score from the penalty spot.The match this time barcelona really completely mastered. and in the second half they tended to lower the tempo and not many more goals were created.

Barcelona achieved a magnificent victory against Valencia. I think this will lead to another wave of euphoria for those who dream of returning the past, which means that in the next match, the rival of Barcelona will again be underestimated. yep it's true they are still playing in inconsistency in my opinion and still in transition but overall towards the end of the season they are doing pretty well now.

Valencia played quite poorly and it is clear their current defense is quite concerning.

Bookmakers give high odds for Barcelona's away win against Valencia... I don't think Barca will waste any energy in this match as they play in Italy against Napoli soon. It's good enough when we see Leeds fight against Madrid to be able to have a balance in the game. It was the minutes of the first half that motivated the Leeds players to recover. But it's not enough to stop there, Real Madrid is still superior in terms of ball control, play and recovery. Until finally they can turn things around quickly.
