maybe players also were uncomfortable with Koeman as their coach, so that could be another reason why players are playing and getting better results, a draw could have been enough playing against Villareal in their home stadium, but they stepped it up and stole the three points even though it was hard but they got out of it with the best result, fans gotta be pumped with this start of Xavi as Barcelona's coach.

I agree, this victory will improve the confidence of all Barcelona players. They will play more aggressively and optimistic in the next matches. I think Depay was the champion of thr two halftime he lost his strange chancex and killed the match.

And it turns out that my guess was right about the final result of Villareal and Barcelona. A bit doubtful actually because I'm not too sure Barcelona can score 3 goals in the second half because I didn't see them good enough in the first half. Only after De Jong scored did Barcelona get the better of it, but the Villareal players return goal seemed to put Barcelona's spirits at bay for a moment. But Depay showed it's not over and yes he scored today plus Coutinho's penalty for the victory today.

Indeed ... a lot of goalless matches!

a lot of boring matches , but barcelona break the deadlock through de jong goal at 48' earlier, good for them.
it seems xavi charismatic help much on the team performance.. everyone get disciplined since day one xavi in charge and the result so far so good .
they are slowly climbing up the la liga table, if they hold this winning , they are 3 points away from 4th position below atletico madrid.
