Barcelona performance in today Copa del Rey game was just awful. Fact that game with 3rd division went to extra time say a lot about us. Zero motivation from players, 2 missed penalties, you must be kidding...

Edit: I watched that game and it was a great game, I changed my mind and bet on the Atlético after 10 minutes, then to my surprise the Atlético suffers a goal after 12 minutes and I thinking: why the hell didn't wait 15 minutes to bet on the Atlético? because for me it was already certain that the Atlético would win.

I was expecting Valencia to win this game too. They are having a bad season but they are a more qualified team than Osasuna. But Osasuna scored the first goal and Valencia barely managed to save the one point.

Valencia saved 1 point but I thought they could get the win at home. They are showing a very bad performance this season so far.
I guess finishing the league in 8-15th spot is OK for them.

Now we'll see the leaders game, they should win this one as well. Eibar is not a competitive team. 3 more points for Atletico makes them 7 point ahead of 2nd spot Real Madrid and secure the top spot.

Atlético's game with Eibar is about to start. Suarez and Correa would lead the attack with Felix available to be deployed from the bench. Atlético Madrid currently seats 4 point clear on top of the table with 2 games still to be played. I know Simone has said that creating a better team is more important to him than contesting for the La liga title but I know he still fancies winning it this season. That said, I'm tipping Madrid to win today against Eibar.

The game starts in about 30 minutes. Looking forward to another solid performance today.

Honestly it is really a weird feeling to have Real Madrid get out this early once again, they are such a big and great club, why not care about the cup at all?

I mean they didn't play with full youth squad or anything but they did played with few players resting that is for sure, I get that you are playing against a much much lower opponent so that is why you think having few starter caliber players are enough, but as we can see from this example it is never enough, you have always have a fire underneath you so that you could beat people, it doesn't matter if it is starters or bench or anything, if you do not play with a decent hype or motivation you are going to end up losing to anyone.

In any case I think it is obvious that Barcelona will have a huge advantage this year, if Real lost that means Barça can lose too so they need to be careful, but their biggest rival is out so they have a good shot at it.

It's going to be a tough game, Barcelona are most certainly going to be without Messi as he's been handed two game suspension, the club said there are going to appeal that decision but I doubt that the suspension will overturned, or at least not before the game. A win for Atletico tonight will make it further impossible to catch up with them.

How I would love to see that come true? Releasing Messi from his Spanish inferno would be great. Barcelona is not going to play fair in this whole story as it would mean they will lose a lot from the deal; we shall see.

Hey, I am a Spanish league supporter and you can not miss any Villarreal match! They have the best Spanish Forward so far (Gerad Moreno) so it is really amazing watch them. I am not a gamblig expert but just remember that. For this match, Villarreal - Granada, I can predict a very nice score in favor to Villarreal, that's my opinion. By the other hand, we have 30 minutes before another good match between Betis - Celta de Vigo (21:00p, spanish time), but in this case, Celta hasn't available their best player, Iago Aspas, so it could be a boring match.

I watched Villarreal - Granada's highlights and I can say you were right about it being a very enjoyable game: I am sorry you were wrong on your prediction as Villareal suffered Granada quite a bit. As I said, if I have to choose which game to watch I would always prefer those in the leagues I know the most. But that game was a nice one.

So as long as he is in the team and is in shape, he will always go on the field. not releasing him against rather weak teams or replacing him during the game, and thus teach the team to do without him.

Looking forward to seeing what Koeman will do in the future. Koeman is a very skilled and experienced coach. He will do everything for the good of the team. Without Messi, Barca could not be well-organized yet. Griezmann is back in form. And Messi is in form. If Barcelona can tighten their defense a little bit, I think Barcelona will be a very stable team.

@Xavofat this is a never ending debate about Messi, but for what’s it worth I feel that they need to either sell him in January or painfully see him leave for free at end of the season. Also Barcelona need to reinvest and plan without Messi and it can be done, but sticking to Messi is foolishness considering his huge wages.

Athletico Madrid will probably beat Eibar unless something shocking happens, which means it is going to be a bit harder for all other teams to reach them. Athletico Madrid is already 2 games behind with 4 points ahead to closest, which means if they win this it will be one game behind and 7 points, with another win that will be 10 points with same amount of games. We are talking about 10 points difference in about half of the season is done, that is not bad at all.

I can't guarantee anyone winning this early, but A.Madrid looks like they are going to win it this year, they are definitely doing much much better this season and they are certainly very good right now with how they are playing as well. Momentum is on their side, if they can keep this up for few more weeks and reac that 10+ point difference, I believe they can safely call it a season.

So, Real Madrid got kicked out from Copa del Rey by 3rd division team Alcoyano Cheesy

. And Real didn't played with their B team players, they had many their main squad players on the pitch. Unfortunately, I haven't saw game, but such loss can't be justified.
Let's see what will happen in Barcelona - Cornella game tomorrow. I just remind that this 3rd division team already kicked out Atletico.
