It's true that Villarreal is one of the teams that might beat Atletico Madrid, Villarreal's performance is quite stable in my opinion. Seeing the previous
match against Atletico Madrid which ended in a draw, proves that Villarreal is not an easy team to beat. Moreover, the last 5 matches without defeat
in La Liga make Villarreal a nightmare for Atletico Madrid. So Atletico Madrid have to be careful with Villarreal, which might make Atletico Madrid

Even if athletico Madrid start to lose their matches, would Barcelona start to win all theirs, Barcelona even when they win, go behind in too many matches, and when the go down to a strong team like Sevilla, coming back won't be as coming back from weaker team, the defense are now water tight and it's Barcelona problem, I think this season is not better than the last one only for the discovery of new young players.

I don't know why Barcelona doesn't take the cup too seriously, it is really not that difficult for them to beat sevilla and their team wasn't even like some youth team neither, we are talking about almost all the starting eleven being in the roster as well, so they should have won this, they are way too close to win the cup, they just have to play sevilla and whoever comes to finals and they are good enough to beat them all and get it.

It is obvious that they are not going to be champions this year unless ATM suddenly starts losing bunch of games back to back, and they are facing PSG on champions league as well, which is why I think it is doubtful that they would get anything from that too. Only chance they have to have a cup this year is copa del rey and if they throw it away against sevilla that means they are not getting that too and end up the season with nothing.

Well emotions aside, Bilbao is better although it is classed right now behind Levante. That team can make many surprises: Barca, Madrid... In their last 2 games, Bilbao won both and scored 2 goals in each. I am expecting them to win but I am not enough confident.

Man, I do hope Atl.Bilbao will lose tonight as they already eliminated both Barcelona and Betis ...2 of my favorites teams from LaLiga. Tonight, they're facing Levante in Copa de Rey and Levante is that team who could score against anyone , literally anyone and I'm expecting Levante over 1.5 goals and a victory aswell.

Why do you think Real Madrid will soon be out of the running for the title? They are still playing quite well. I think if Atletico Madrid loses points in the future matches, then Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico all three teams have a chance to win the title. I wasnt expecting such resulte and i think this is a creul result for all barcelona fans because many of theme wish that barcelona will be the champion of copa del rey...things now are complicated for them and they should give 200% in the second match

There is no easy path this year for any team. Definitely Athletico Madrid looks to be the ones in the biggest chance, they have 51 points with 2 games behind, if they get 6 points from those games they are at 57 points versus Real Madrid's 46 and that is the real chance here, I get that people look at 5 point difference and think that teams are very close again, but the reality is that Madrid is 2 games ahead and that is why it looks like they are closer. 11 point difference will not be easy for neither Barcelona nor real Madrid and things are still going that way.

I think ATM has the best chance not Real but at the same time I believe all three teams have a very tough schedule ahead of them, all three need to win every single game they play in order to have a chance, anyone who loses will be losing a bit of chance, ATM has a chance to lose a few more than the others but they still need to be careful.

Sevilla-Barcelona game was just the first leg of this draw. The second leg is going to be on March 3. In the first game, it seems according to the statistics that Barcelona had a better performance but they were not good at finishing. Sevilla managed to defeat them 2-0 (Kounde, Rakitic). I don't know why in the hell Koeman prefer Messi playing as centre-forward. I think he should play behind the centre-forward. His natural place is there and he can make more contribution by playing like that. Barcelona's job will be really hard in the rematch. But they don't have a too low chance to eliminate Sevilla.

Agree, surely Atletico Madrid has a bigger chance for the title. But Real Madrid and Barcelona won't give up to do their best, also Atletico Madrid may get bad results in the remaining matches. 18 matches left means still many chances for the change in the table. Atletico Madrid has bigger chance but do not forget last season what happen with Barcelona after more dominance until 8 match left they loss opportunity and Real Madrid continue with good performance and success take barcelona position place until two week left to make Madrid get back La liga trophy, how ever right now still left 18 match and everything could be happen for Real Madrid and Barcelona to get trophy and keep bigger chance for Atletico Madrid.
