Sevilla are going to play an away game against Alaves next week. Alaves are the 16th with 18 points and Sevilla are the 6th with 30 points. Sevilla got only 1 loss on the last 5 games and Alaves got only 1 win. Sevilla lost to Atletico on their last game and I think they will make up for it by winning this.
I agree with you and i think sevilla can make an easy win againts the weak alaves and they will not wast any point but before that they have a match againts leganes in copa del rey.

I also hope this season's champion will be Atletico Madrid. They are in great form.
You can hope because they have good form now. But there are still many remaining matches to play. We don't know how Atletico can keep their good form. As far as I know, Atletico is a typical club that doesn't play consistently once it towards the end of the competition. I doubt if they will lose their focus or consistent at the end of the season. The reasons may be varied, but mostly about the injured of key players or the motivation among the players are decreasing. Let's see how good Atletico to keep their good form till the end of the season!

A disappointing night in Real Madrid, even Zidane looks disgruntled lol. Modric, Kroos are ageing and not getting the neccesary support from their creative outlets with both Hazard, isco or valverde not offering any form of creativity through the middle or on the wings. Zidane has to trust and play the young boys in vincius and rodrigo; results are important than ego.
Although Real Madrid had more control in ball possession, but their backline looks to be playing poorly, especially Lucas Vazquez. While Ath Bilbao has fewer opportunities but they can take advantage of it, as result, a beautiful skill shown by Raul Garcia was able to produce 2 goals.

Unfortunately, Real Madrid couldn't beat Bilbao, so the El Clasico match in the Spanish super cup failed to be held.

This is what I do. I drink and I know things.
Another great addition to Atlético Madrid's attack: they have confirmed the signing of the Lyon forward Moussa Dembele on an initial loan deal. The French forward scored 45 goals in all competitions for Lyon after leaving Celtic in September 2018. He arrives as a replacement for Diego Costa, who left Atletico earlier this month and may be leaving Spain for AC Milan.

I don't know if he can be the next big scorer for Atletico, since they really miss one, but IMHO can achieve more than Diego Costa with this club. He is constantly working on his abilities and he has the future ahead of him. Besides Simeone want and like to work with such players.

Looks like big boys got knocked out of the cup. Definitely made my night;)

Not like Barca won't fall just as easily to another team as we've done all season long hehe but at least we know there road will be one step easier to go to the final.

Not your keys, not your coins!
Modric is 35, Ramos is 34. They are the best in their position, but their time is running out.
They are the best in Real Madrid at their positions but in La Liga they are not. They are certainly not the best in Europe, if you compare them to top players at their positions.

And we need to prepare a replacement for them. But it is not. And it will not be in the next couple of years. Since Real has no money. The failed transfer policy of recent years. brought Real to this state.
Real Madrid has lot of fund for transfer but the problems for them, in many decades is their club's financial budget is based on debt. They have many loans and the pandemic Covid-19 put not only Real Madrid but also many clubs under financial bailouts. They sure don't have big fund for transfer now and in near future.

Real sold Hakimi to Inter, although he could easily replace Carvajal now. Sold Llorente to Atlético Madrid, although he could easily replace Modric or Cross. Regilon really played worse than Mendy? But he was also sold. These players could safely play at the base of Real Madrid and no worse than the current players. How much money essentially wasted.
Those transfers are normal if you see how Real Madrid show they are bad to grow up their home-grown players. Many players grew their career better and became stars after they left Real Madrid. One of them is Samuel Eto'o. Real Madrid want super stars and handsome players in their squad.

The midfielder of Madrid for a long time is Cross, Modric and Casemiro. In the defense of Ramos and Varan. Marcelo has already lost the competition to Mendy. Ramos is 34 years old and has not yet renewed his contract. Ramos will not play forever and he already needs to look for a replacement, like many other players. It is impossible to pull with this. But Zidane does not trust the young. It is possible that a different coach will build a new team.
No player will play forever. But if so many star players leave the team together, it will have a very bad effect on the whole team. Madrich is the best player in midfield. He performs well in almost every match. There is nothing new to say about Ramos. He is one of the best defender in the world. If the foundations of defense and midfield are shaky, it is not possible for a good striker to be the champion of the season.

Vasquez faults cost them this game imo. Defense is a major weakness in Real Madrid yet Zidane seems unable to fix it correctly, dunno how they will perform once Ramos is out.. Yeah Real Madrid was close to tie (at least) in the second half but Bilbao won the game. Good luck for them vs Barca which is hungry for a trophy!

I have no doubt that when Ramos is finally out, Real Madrid will have a lot on their plate to fill in for his services and would have a hard time finding for a replacement. However, one thing is certain, no matter how valuable a player is to a team, they will always be replaced eventually.  I've seen this a lot of times and affected teams eventually gets to move on.

Looks like big boys got knocked out of the cup. Definitely made my night;)

Real Madrid's defensive woes continues to haunt them this season. Bibao could have easily added more goals with those missed chances. I'm not say Madrid didn't have their chances too. Talking about the final, Barcelona already beat Bibao less than 2 weeks ago so what's stopping them from doing it again on Sunday? This might be the closest they might come to winning a trophy this season.

Correct. It is what I also think about them. It is too risky if Real Madrid sells Ramos and one of their best midfielders. Ramos, Marcelo, and Modric are the key players, they are irreplaceable. I doubt Real Madrid will lose its power if those players leave Real Madrid. If Real Madrid wants to have a younger squad, it shouldn't directly sell all key players. It is very important to make sure the team won't lose the balance significantly.
I agree with you that Real Madrid should not lose all of their key players. Especially Sergio Ramos who is the true leader in the Real Madrid team,
because for me it was very different to play Madrid without Ramos. Even though Ramos was 34 years old, still his presence is indispensable.
Moreover, Madrid's defense lines usually play less discipline without Ramos. I think Real Madrid letting Sergio Ramos go would be a very bad decision.
And how do you propose to keep Ramos, if according to quite reliable rumors, he has already decided everything for himself and told the management about PSG? I am not sure that even a contract for several years, which is against the rules of Real Madrid, will already be able to keep Ramos in the team, especially if Messi joins PSG, then Paris will have a very competitive project. Also, Real Madrid is unlikely to be able to compete with the sheikhs on the financial terms of the contract.

With 1 goal to 0, the possibility of comeback is high but now with 2 goals it is unlikely for Real to win this... They need to tie in the first half then try to score in the extra time otherwise Barca will face Bilbao this Sunday!
They were really close to make comeback, but Athletic survived. They had some bad luck - they hit post and crossbar twice. One of their goals was cancelled after VAR review. It's probably 3rd time in last 2 games when Benzema scored from offside.
We will have Barcelona - Athletic in the final on Sunday, should be interesting. Not bad chance for Barca to get trophy after previous trophyless season, but it's gonna be tough.

But Zidane does not trust the young. It is possible that a different coach will build a new team.
Are you expecting Zidane to leave? I think coach Zidane is good, it's just that he has a lot of pressure at the club. I believe the starting line-up in Madrid is not in balance. This is evident from several matches they lost because their core players suffered injuries. The league standings and champion ambition make him fight to always want to win every game. So he wants the perfect team in every game. If he doesn't field his young players, it's only a matter of time. If you look at it it has happened even if only one or two young players are in a game. I hope Zidane can take advantage of the transfer market.

I totally agree with you that Real should start rejuvenating the team. But it's easier said then done to include younger players. Dortmund for example focuses a lot on very young players but with all the young talents they still aren't really favourites for titles. And Real always wants to be in the top 5 of the world so they rather trust old(er) player that brought them the success in the past. And to just go on a shopping spree on the transfer market now doesn't necessarily bring success and is damn risky. Especially during the corona crisis.  (Jovic for example is a young player but was a huge disappointment given how much they spent on him)

However since they lost their semi final today and are already way behind Atletico in the league (even with 2 more matches played), I am sure the officials at Real will want to make quite some changes this summer. Maybe Mbappe and/or Camavinga? Together with Ødegaard, Vinícius Júnior, Rodrygo, Kubo (currently on loan) these players could form a great team.

Even though I am not a Madrid supporter, I like Zinedine Zidane to coach Madrid for a long time. He is the perfect coach for Madrid, has had a lot of success with him in Madrid, the fans and club management should be aware of that.
Not achieve a title at the end of the season does not necessarily mean he is a failed coach, sometimes the composition of the players in the team also greatly determines the course of the season.

Real Madrid is in big problem at halftime, they are losing to Athletic 2:0. Two big mistakes by Lucas Vazquez cost Real Madrid 2 goals. I said yesterday that's not going to be easy game for Real, but they still have 45 minutes to make comeback.
