This season season, Barcelona has improved but I think it's fair to say they are average for now since they have not played stubborn teams in the Spain. The only match I think I can consider tough is Real Madrid but it was a friendly match and you know what that means. It will he better when these row of rounds games is done before we can say indeed they are ready to take the bull by the horn, early matches can be deceiving but I will admit that it improve the team.

Monaco is doing well in their domestic league and they just have a brief match with Barcelona and the outcome was bizarre, Barca conceded three goals from Monaco but that was before the season started in Laliga. Perhaps by now they would have seen that error and corrected it but 3 goals is alot considering that the whole squad was present in that match.

This is what they are missing, they haven't made that big amount of money so far and that is why they are in financial debt, and they need to focus on getting better results. La Liga title would be great of course and they desperately need to win that but they also need to focus on getting better results at UCL as well.

Dani Olmo's injury is a setback for Barcelona because he would have contributed to the team's first Champoins League game. Hoever, there is also a good news for Hansi Flick as Ansu Fati has been declared fit and will feature in game. Monaco have not lost a game in four games so they cannot be underestimited. Olmo was known to have a past long season for Leipzig in Bundesliga, Champions League and he had to play in Euro 2024 for Spanish team too. Barcelona knew all of these things but again they ignored the clear information, took risk, overused Olmo. Hence, this injury came eventually while Barcelona can minimize risk of injury for Olmo by using him less to help him recovers better after a tough summer with Spanish national team.

Olmo is one of the key players in Barcelona. I think Hansi Flick will always need him around now that he is injured.
