Barcelona managed to beat 10 Valencia players. Through Robert Lewandowski's hat trick and Fermin Lopez's goal, Los Cules won 4-2. Disaster struck for Valencia when their goalkeeper Mamardashvili received a red card in the fourth minute of injury time, for touching the ball outside the penalty box. Barcelona took advantage of the superior number of players to attack Valencia's defense in the second half. And this strategy was successful because in the second half Barcelona managed to add two goals scored by Robert Lewandowski and managed to emerge as winners with a final score of 4 - 2. I can conclude that Valencia's defeat was due to a lack of players and Barcelona's aggressive attacks in the second half.
Valencia really made things difficult for Barcelona throughout the first half, they scored 2 goals and that really made Barcelona have to appear more aggressive in the second half. Lacking one player made Valencia really concentrate on defense, but they failed to maintain their lead because Barcelona attacked continuously and created many opportunities. Valencia fell 4-2 away from home as a result, but it was a memorable win for Lewandowski this season.

Lewandowski scored 3 goals in that match, making him score 16 goals in 30 appearances in La Liga. Lewandowski is 3 goals behind Artem Dovbyk who leads the top scorers at the moment, but I don't think it's a big gap. If Robert Lewandowski really performs consistently in the remainder of this season, it is not impossible that he will win the top scorer award again in two consecutive seasons. It's still interesting to look forward to the top scorer competition, that's because it feels like the title competition is over.

Barcelona and Girona currently only have a very narrow difference in points, namely they only have a difference of 2 points. So in the next match, namely the match where the two of them will meet, namely the Barcelona vs Girona match, the result will indeed determine which team will be ranked 2nd.

Barcelona at the start of the season experienced bad results against Girona. So of course in this match Barcelona will definitely try to get good results. At the start of the season, Barcelona suffered a fairly heavy defeat with a score of 2-4. So now would be the right time for Barcelona to avenge their defeat at that time.

I think Barcelona can keep up with Girona, because even though at the start of the season they experienced bad results, Barcelona will definitely fix it and maybe with their next match Barcelona can keep up with Girona, because of course Barcelona doesn't want to be moved down the rankings. I think Barcelona must be able to stay in that ranking, because if they chase the top ranking it doesn't seem possible.

apart from that, Girona could also give Barcelona a surprise which might make them shift from their ranking, but I think if Girona can actually shift Barcelona's ranking, it's possible that the points won't be much different, so even if Barcelona is shifted, there's a possibility that Barcelona will still be able to overtaking again. Hopefully Barcelona must also be prepared, because they cannot underestimate Girona.
Barcelona won't allow Girona to cross them but again they won't be able to cross Real Madrid because Real Madrid already have many points ahead of Barcelona. Girona missed their chance to do well. they collected a lot of points and were in the top position for a long time but now they are behind Real Madrid by many points due to losing several matches and Barcelona is only 1 point ahead of them but I think there will be a big gap between them. Barcelona's match today was also excellent, they won the match 4-2, it was a great thing

Comparing Xavi with Guardiola is like comparing heaven and earth, the difference is very big. Xavi is very lucky because he is an inseparable part of Barcelona. The trust of Barcelona management in giving him the opportunity to handle the team when it was experiencing a financial downturn has given him experience in handling top class team in European competitions.

I admit, Xavi did not completely fail this season even though he was unable to present a single trophy for Barcelona. He was able to prove his quality amidst the doubts that continued to come to him, Xavi's performance was not too bad because he succeeded in bringing Barcelona to the quarter-finals of the UCL and he is trying to make his team finish in runner-up position in La Liga.
You are saying that now, but this is the first time Xavi came to a big club, he spent just 2 years there, he won one La Liga and he has seen one quarter finals of UCL with the team already and he did that with a team that has HUGE amount of debt, whereas Guardiola has never been to a team with a financial trouble, when he was back at Barcelona, he was basically spending money like crazy, and now he is at City, we have seen him spend money like crazy on players as well.

This is why I would say the difference isn't that huge, if you put Xavi at a team with no financial trouble, I am sure that he will do just as well as Guardiola. I mean look at Pep, dude has won so many premier leagues, but only one UCL with the most dominant English team, I bet that Xavi could do that too.

Here, Valencia actually gave a game that wasn't that bad in the first half. They were even able to lead with a score of 1-2 in the first half. But one mistake put them at a disadvantage in the second half because they had to fight by relying on 10 players to face Barcelona who became increasingly aggressive in the second half. And clearly this is something that benefits Barcelona in the second half. So Barcelona scoring 3 goals in the second half is a very normal thing. Maybe if the opponent was not Barcelona but another weak team then maybe Valencia could have maintained their lead. But because the opponent is Barcelona, only fighting with 10 players is clearly a very fatal disadvantage.

But I think playing with 10 players and having your main goalkeeper get a red card is a nightmare for any team. You play with 10 players and you have a bad final defense because he is the second goalkeeper. I think even if Valencia plays another team that is not from the relegation zone then Valencia will find it difficult to win the game. I don't underestimate the second goalkeeper but with a 2-1 lead I thought the game would end in a draw. I think the opposing coach will try to increase the number of speculative kick attempts.
It's not about Valencia having the second goalkeeper substitute for the first goalkeeper because of the red card given. What you need to understand is that any team that has a red card against their opponent stands a chance of losing the match to the team they are playing against, not minding whether they are winning before the red card is given or trying to play a defensive game.

Valencia's first goalkeeper "Giorgi Mamardashvii had a red card at 45 minutes of the first half when Valencia was winning Barcelona by 2-1. You don't expect Barcelona not to come back strong in the second half not equalize and win before the end of the second match.

It would have been disappointing if, by the end of the next 45 minutes(second half), Barcelona didn't later win their home match against Valencia, even with the red advantage given to them.

This is a race, and after a very good start in the race between them, Girona could not bring the strength of that start until the end of the season, but they are still the leading team in the race and are now two points behind Barcelona. In my opinion, Barcelona is the team that is closer to finishing second, even if it is late in the season, as some dynamics and game understanding are established.

They managed to turn around the game after falling behind in yesterday's victory against Valencia. Lewandowski's game was also decisive in the victory.

I dont know what to think about this Barcelona, in the yesterday game against Valencia i feel like they not were so solid, with one more man they pushed but they dont play good football at all, it seems like the team is locked on the same way of playing and level, no progress in this season.

I did not see the first half of the game but it feels like Valencia made Camp Nou their own home ground ad they dominated in the first half.
I will agree with you, but all that matters is not how far but how well, they finally got to win the game with togetherness and team work. I want to give credits to Robert Lewandoski, as I think and it's also obviously seen that single handedly won Barcelona the game yesterday, they played as a team should do during the second half of tje game but all those goals came up from him.

This is the Robert Lewandoski Barcelona fans wanted when the season kicked off but he didn't do as expected. Fans have both disrespected Xavi Hernandez and Robert Lewandoski this season and they have finally shut all of them mouths and it feels good to see.

More finve games to goal in the La Liga League Competition and I do feel like Robert Lewandoski had enough chances of winning the highest goalscorer award again this season.

If I consider the statistics that occurred in the first half and also in the second half, then I conclude that Barcelona succeeded in dominating the match. That way, I can't say Barcelona is bad because afterall, based on the statistics that occurred throughout the match, in reality Barcelona had good dominance. Also, the final score was that Barcelona won with a good score of 4-2 even though indeed, a win with a big score like this was completely unpredictable. However, in the final minutes of the first half, the Valencia goalkeeper actually received a red card.

Therefore, in the second half Barcelona managed to score three goals and Lewandowski managed to score the hat-trick in the second half. But indeed,if for example Valencia continues to play with 11 players, then it looks like Barcelona will not be able to win like this or maybe, only get a draw. Unfortunately, Valencia played with only 10 players in the second half, so Valencia had to suffer defeat by Barcelona in this match.

This is a match that is difficult to predict but if I had to choose, I would prefer Girona. Barcelona did just get a big win against Valencia but I think it's nothing more than the advantage they got (Valencia had to play with 10 men because they got a red card), while in the previous match, they lost against Real Madrid. Girona just got 2 wins against Las Pasmas and Cadiz and I think that's pretty good for their morale. Apart from that, this will be Girona's home match and they also have quite high motivation to take 2nd place from Barcelona.

Cadiz vs Mallorca

Cadiz StartXI: 4-4-2
Jeremías Ledesma; Iza Carcelén; Aiham Ousou; Víctor Chust; Lucas Pires; Robert Navarro; Fali; Rubén Alcaraz; Chris Ramos; Álex Fernández; Juanmi

Mallorca StartXI: 5-4-1
Predrag Rajković; Giovanni González; Martin Valjent; Antonio Raíllo; Matija Nastasić; Pablo Maffeo; Nemanja Radonjić; Omar Mascarell; Samuel Costa; Dani Rodríguez; Vedat Muriqi

Cadiz are in relegation zone and they are doing better than Mallorca in times of performance, the fact is that Cadiz as secured 6 points in the last five matches while Mallorca only earn 4 points but still i don't see any hope for Cadiz to secure this win despite they are the one hosting the match.

Mallorca 1-1 Cadiz

How did Mallorca miss in the 86th minute and Cadiz miss in the 90th minute? It was incredible we got only those two goals. The first goal was incredible by the way. Great header. And when they did score the own goal, It was also a great header by the way  Grin.

But anyway, Cadiz still remains in the relegation zone. And I think the teams that are in the relegation zone are not going to be able to avoid relegation in this season anymore. Because now the point has become quite a lot. The way the teams in the relegation zone are performing, I don’t think they will suddenly start performing well in the remaining matches. But if anyone has any chance, I think it is Cadiz.

If there is a team that I will have to respect so much in the Spanish la Liga this season it is Girona. When this average club started this season many people took it as a joke and predicted that they will not see anywhere close to top four. Surprisingly the season is getting to an end and they are comfortably seated at the top four of the Spanish la Liga. If they had better players and a better squad depth I bet that they would have been contesting for the first spot with Real Madrid. If Girona management does not give up and invest more with the current coach and the players they have, by next season they could be another Bayern Leverkusen. Whether or not they beat Barcelona, whether or not they finished in second position or third position, they have already earned my respect and I admire their beautiful outing this season. It is an evidence to every other club that even an average club can make a wave in a season. Congratulations to Girona and her management.

Both teams will of course give their all in next week's match, the only option for Barcelona and Girona this season is to secure the runners-up position of La Liga, while Madrid will of course only be spectators after they only need one more win to be sure the La Liga trophy is theirs this season, Girona and Barcelona this season are Madrid's contenders for the title,  But the performance of the two teams that suddenly dropped dramatically made Madrid able to win the championship this season without any pressure from Barcelona and Girona.

Next week match will of course be decisive for both teams to get second place this season, with 5 remaining matches of course both teams currently have to fight hard to get and secure second place so they will look quite good in the eyes of the fans and at least should be proud by ending the season under Madrid position, Second place does not promise a trophy but I think it can make Barcelona and Girona get better prestige at the end of the season, especially Girona who have been close to Madrid all season, so I think it will be the perfect end for Girona after a whole season disrupted Madrid journey.

Barcelona won the game against Valencia with huge scores but I believe Valencia lost because it made some mistakes which cost the club three points. The biggest error has come from its goalkeeper when he got a red card caused by handball. Valencia's goalkeeper was doing handball to keep Yamal from passing him when these two were one on one.
That is Valencia's biggest mistake. I'd rather let Yamal score so Valencia can score another goal with 11 players. That's a big mistake by Valencia's goalkeeper. He is suspended for several games following the red card.

Both teams played very well in the first half of the game and before halftime, with Valencia leading by one goal. But unfortunately the shot went a bit too far and the player got the ball in his hand while trying to defend, which was the biggest mistake of the Valencia team. Although Guli tried hard to stop the goal here but could not, I think the goalkeeper should have been patient here. As the Barcelona team roared back immediately after receiving the red card, they went on the attack to win the game and collect the three points.

If Valencia didn't get a red card, I don't think Barcelona would have won the game; they just got the advantage of the red card and they used to privilege and get the opportunity to win the game; Valencia did well yesterday but they didn't have luck in the game that night, and Barcelona did well too; they want to stay in second place and finish in second place in the league table this season because they don't have any hope of winning the league anymore, they will prevent Girona should not top them in the table since they have make mistakes and they don't have any hope to top the competition anymore.

Many people believe Girona will win the league, but Real Madrid is so dominant in the competition that no one will be able to catch up to them in the league table. Lewandowski got lucky and scored three goals in the match, and some believe he is regaining his form. Lewandowski has gotten weak, and if he scores goals, they will believe they will be unable to find a substitute for him. Barcelona are now awful this season already. They will only do the essential things next season because Xavi will know which players he wants to acquire in the team so that they can perform very well in the club and win numerous.

It was a lucky game and victorious game for Barca. Valencia goalkeeper was the cause of their defeat for intentionally touching the ball outside his 18 yard box. Assuming that red card was not given, it would have been a very difficult match for Barca. This is because Valencia was already on the lead before the red card. It is good to see Lewandowski was able to score hat trick, is it that he is back to his scoring form.

Lewandowski's action was really great and accurate, he was able to take advantage of opportunities well which ultimately made Barcelona win against Valencia with a score of 4-2 and to be honest, this match was a tense match because Barcelona was left behind by Valencia because of a mistake made by the goalkeeper who was unable to control the ball with well which ultimately made Hugo Duro very calmly score a goal against Barcelona and a mistake by a Barcelona player who made a foul which ultimately made Valencia lucky because Valencia took a penalty kick which resulted in a goal for Valencia.

In my opinion, Lewandowski really was a savior for Barcelona because when Barcelona was behind by a goal, Lewandowski was able to score 3 goals beautifully.

Now Barcelona has succeeded in taking points from Valencia which of course has now made Barcelona successful in shifting Girona's position from runner up in the standings. but of course I am sure that the competition between Girona and Barcelona will continue until the end of the season to fight for the runner up position. and the next match Barcelona will meet Girona, of course this is a match that has been eagerly awaited and I want to see Xavi and Michel's troops play.
Scoring three goals in the match against Valencia is not an easy thing because Valencia is a club that has played quite maturely this season even though they are still stuck in eighth place in LaLiga, but this has become something that big clubs like Barcelon are quite wary of, because of that could be an obstacle for Barcelona to get full points, but Barcelona was able to get these points even though they had support at home and that is a normal thing in my opinion, although here we can see how sharp Lewandowski is to create a goal at the end of the match and that is at least a changes in this match brought Barcelona to full points in week 33..

It was very bad of Barcelona to allow Girona to beat them in their own home but I geues then they weren't really in the form like that but this can be corrected now otherwise this statistic result is going to be a bench mark for people after this season, they will always says that Barcelona is below Girona in Laliga, this is why they need to win this match by all means.

Barcelona defense is very poor in this match because some of their defender players did the mistakes and this makes Barcelona have to suffered conceded 2 goals but indeed everything was change after red card incident for Valencia because in the second half Barcelona can control the game and with 81% ball possession they can scores 3 goals from Lewandowski and this result is makes Barcelona can collect 73 points from 33 matches and they still able to managed their points gap 11 points below Real Madrid

Next weekend would be so interesting because there is a big match between Girona vs Barcelona and at December last year both teams has been met once time and at that time Girona can able to beat Barcelona with final scores 4-2 at Camp Nou and i am curious whether Barcelona can take revenge and win from Girona or not and i know since entering 2024 Girona performance was decline but while playing at home Girona still able to beat their opponents so Girona is still able to managed their performance while playing at home and i think Girona potentially can make Barcelona get in trouble again even there is possibility Girona can repeat their previous result from Barcelona and win the match
Although conceding 2 goals, Barcelona players began to dominate the game in the 2nd half, with a ball possession of 80% and a total of 27 shot, which was possible after the red card incident for Valencia. During the match, Barcelona's defense was nothing to write home about as some of their defenders seemed to make costly mistakes that could have jeopardized the team's chance of getting the title.

In that regard, more effort has to be put in by the team to successfully attain the title they so desire. Also, Barca might still be able to maintain the 11 points gap they have below Real Madrid  if they can successfully gain 81% possession of the ball and make 3 goals from Lewandowski, collect 73 points from at least 33 matches. There's still a about 3games left till the season is rounded up.

The match between Barca and Giroma coming up next week is one to look forward to, considering how Giroma won against Barca last December in a game of 4-2 as the final scores. This upcoming match, is one I'm sure we're all curious as to how the performance of both team will be because of Barca's current weak defense and Girona's decline in performance recently since the beginning of the year.

Barcelona must win today's home game against Valencia if they want to maintain second place in the standings. Of course it is true that Barcelona has a high probability of winning at home, but I can still consider this match as a difficult match considering that Valencia will also still be fighting for their hopes of qualifying for the European zone next season.

What happens if they don't win? Will Girona finish 2nd? Do you think Girona will win its remaining matches? Even if Barcelona doesn't win today, they will finish the league second. The Girona - Barcelona match next week is more important if you look at it in terms of second place. So no matter what happens, today's match is not of great importance. Second place doesn't matter much for Barca after losing the championship. This year Real Madrid was better, collected more points and won. Barca should now think about what to do next season. Xavi can give young players more chances in the last matches. Players like Yamal and Fermin, who will start the match today, will be the cornerstones of Barca's newly built team. Besides these, names like Vitor Roque will also come. Roque starts as a substitute today. In addition, we may see new names from La Masia in the last matches.

Regarding Vitor Roque in Barcelona, I have been expecting much more from this player since he joined Barcelona.
Recently some teams tried to hire Brazilian younger talents, Real Madrid did the same thing and it was working for them but it seems Vitor Roque was not a good option for Barcelona. In fact, when Vitor Roque joined Barcelona he was expecting to have much more chance for the game but he couldn't get the chance they wanted to get.
Now even Vitor Roque is thinking of leaving Barcelona if Xavi keeps holding him out of the squad.
Playing play on loan for another team can be a good solution for Vitor Roque with the current situation he has.

I dont know what to think about this Barcelona, in the yesterday game against Valencia i feel like they not were so solid, with one more man they pushed but they dont play good football at all, it seems like the team is locked on the same way of playing and level, no progress in this season.
