If Barcelona has started to improve its economic condition and all the problems in Barcelona have been resolved, then next season Barcelona will perform at full strength. Next season is the right time to win and become La Liga champions next season. For La Liga this season, it seems like Barcelona is having difficulty catching first place. We just need to wait for the new season to start soon.

Xavi has been a good manager at the Spanish side, even though they've had some shaky situations, they've just found a way to cover up lapses and make necessary coverings to the loopholes. It's very much good that they were able to put in good effort regardless of what they lacked to good team building. Nonetheless, Xavi would have still done better than he's already done. Well, his days with the team are technically numbered and he's got some commendations which he definitely deserves. I don't know what to say about his intended replacement but all I'll say is Barcelona as a team has work to be done and I'd love to see the new Barcelona in seasons and games to come.

 It'll be very much important that Barcelona management tried their best to get a good replacement for Xavi and finding the best option for them would be a bit difficult. There are prospect options for them but they've got to be very careful in their choices. Considering Emery as a choice, he's got an improved record with Villa and normally, Villa and Barcelona's level can't be compared so it's safe to say that it'd be a bit different to manage Barcelona based on their range of players and level in football.

 Barcelona isn't a team to be taken as an experiment. They won't be able to bear loosing their value and pride just because of them trying to make use of a manager who's not really had very much experience in a big team. Although, EPL is competitive than the La Liga, so maybe there can be a little match in strategy.

Barcelona performance is at high confidence currently, we don’t have to talk about their performance and the fact that they are at the second position if the table, I believe they will continue dominating their matches and even do more than what they are currently doing, so they can maintain their position in the table. However, their next match Valencia is not going to be a tough match for Barcelona because I have checked and I haven’t see where Valencia won Barcelona, so this make me believe that since Barcelona are also looking for a way to remain their position, they won’t take this game joke and they will do everything in their power to win this game.


Valencia are still far in the table, they are the 8th in the position, I think this is what Barcelona need to look and dominate to their match and win Valencia. Although, to me Valencia are not doing that well that will make me believe that they will win Barcelona, a team that stay at 8th in the position, I will rather give Barcelona or hope for them to win. Than to think of Valencia winning them.

Lol, you guys have won Barcelona this season and are happy but forgotten that last season they were the league winners with the same coach. It is just a seasonal something for now until Real Madrid wins it again next season.


Their financial crisis is amongst the major factor that affected them this season. The players needed by Xavi were not brought in by the club because of their financial troubles. If this continues for another season, I don’t think we’ll see any improvement from the club and no difference from what we see this season.


It was a good decision he was convinced to stay back, it was for the betterment of the club and they’ll see it when the new season begins. First of all, let's say that Barca always plays for the championship, there is no such thing as second place. No one is happy with being second. But I agree with you. Barcelona currently has no other choice but to hope that Xavi can stay at Barcelona. I myself think three seasons is too fast if Xavi's grades fail, he can take Barcelona to the quarter-finals, he has won several trophies too, at least give him five seasons so we know whether he failed or not. Honestly this is by far not the first time that there are ongoing discussions about complaints after the game or claims that the referees have been bribed or something along those lines. Real Madrid vs. Barcelona almost never ends without drama post game. This time it is no different and the only outcome that would really change something for the moment would be if the game was to be repeated. But that is never going to happen. Hence we have a new La Liga winner this year.

Let’s hope so because their financial situation is really a great burden to them and it will one way or the other affect their success going further. Xavi is a great coach and I really believe that he can make Barcelona better and successful than they are now. With his potentials, he still needs to have the best players to bring his best managerial skills out, and without the needed talents, all of that cannot be achievable. He builds on young players but before grooming them to become that good, he needs to keep a high tempo with the existing players to serve as an example to the upcoming ones.

Real Madrid have always been using this strategy of building on their young players and that makes them more confident of their team, because a formidable team built with young players lasts a longer time than those that consists mostly of older players. It also helps to reduce the cost of expenses during transfer markets because you’ll only need few or no players to add to the team during that time. Let’s see what Xavi can do for Barcelona in the next season since he has decided to stay back and continue coaching the team.

I missed something important here and it turns out to be true what you said after reading your reply I was surprised that Xavi actually stayed at Barcelona for one more season and I haven't heard for sure why Xavi stayed but from my thoughts Xavi still has sympathy Barcelona is currently short of players and he is the only coach who really understands how Barcelona is at the moment and perhaps Xavi also feels that he is truly like a valuable diamond in Barcelona as a coach who is very smart in terms of rotating players.
but that's just my speculation and we may not yet know why Xavi survived and I hope someone can provide more precise information.

I don't think it's a smart decision for Barcelona to allow Xavi continue next season with them. Barcelona needs to hire new coach and new players to make the team stronger than it is now. And many fans are pleased when Xavi makes decisions that result in his departure from the team, as Xavi is the primary reason for Barcelona's poor performance this season. Let see whether he will buy better players to the teams, they should sell this Lewandowski is not excellent anymore, is weary, or they should get a replacements for him next season, but the issue is that Barcelona did not have lot of fund to buy key players to the team. Xavi is indeed a coach who can be relied on even though the club's situation is not very good financially. I personally would probably support whatever decision Xavi takes. But getting the news that Xavi will stay is the most pleasant news to hear. Because I'm sure Xavi will also be more motivated to make Barcelona better and better every season. And failing to win a title doesn't mean failing to be a great coach. Because being in second place is also quite good.
