The team that is waiting for the classico more than Real and Barcelona could be Girona. Because if Real Madrid wins, which many people do expect them to win, then it means the points difference between Barcelona and Girona will come down to just a single game.
This is why I believe that they are going to try their very best to make sure that things go as well as they hope. If Barcelona wins, then it is not going to change anything for anyone, it is still Real as title winner in the end and Barcelona second place, but if Barcelona loses then Girona will smell blood and they will try their best to get that position. Lets be honest, Girona had a good season but how many seasons could they have like this, we all know next season they will not be even remotely similar.
Barcelona, after failing in the UCL, maybe they will play seriously against their rivals Madrid in the El Classico match. Of course this match is very important for them to close the point difference with Madrid, but of course it is not that easy for Barcelona to beat Madrid because on paper compared to the strength of both of them, Madrid is indeed on paper they are far superior, I think Madrid will draw in the match because both of them will definitely play with high tension to win and will play as hard as possible.
Girona didn't look good in their last few matches, so they won't change any of their position if Barcelona suffers a defeat of course it won't benefit their position either, the point is that right now for Girona is to maintain their position in the top four and don't necessarily have to be runners-up up in the standings, they should focus on improving their current shortcomings which may be causing them to play inconsistently, they must return to appearing as confident as before because at the start of the season they played quite well, but towards the end of the season their play didn't look consistent.
