Ok guys, here's something to get excited about...  I just got a couple of texts from Lab_Rat to pass on...

  • Legal work SHOULD be done this weekend, or early next week.  ie:  We should have something concrete within the next 7 days.
  • Lab_Rat is also intending to do an AMA here, with the lawyer in attendance.  I'm not sure if he intends that within the week or not though.

You may all proceed to lose your shit.

Kinda wish Labrat was the US Gov.  Then we could file a freedom of information act request against him...

One of those would only take you months to years and then you get files with tons of blacked out redactions.

My $.02.

Bar, don't get me wrong.  You get off your chair, get to work, and *poof!* stuff turns to shit.  Unfortunate coincidence prob'ly.
Best of luck with your work.

Every man is guilty of all the good he did not do.
Of course Sporket (Aka Crumbs) comes on here trying to promote some agenda against me.

Actions speak louder than trolls and in this case I agree with ||bit regarding a lot of the "Bitcoin Securities" turn out to not be all that we have hoped, I have a large farm myself (Should be up to ~130TH by the end of this weekend).

Since I'm not afraid to show my face in public like some of us, I use that to go and meet with people and businesses to do due diligence and to lend a helping hand as I'm fairly well connected to people that matter unlike crumbs and MP.

Regardless of the above there are two types of people on this forum. Those that troll and believe trolls, and those that get off their chair and do work.

Pretty much everything with Bargraphics' involvement sooner or later turns out to be a scam/ruinous for the folks on the receiving end.  So we have correlation.  I don't attempt to interpret it or imply causation, just toss it out as an empirical curiosity.
I don't discount the possibility that he's unlucky and/or strangely drawn to scams.

Alright, over a month now; does anyone still believe that the lawyer, who allegedly works on a new contract really exists?

He exists, I've personally met him.
...

Bargraohics makes it a point to meet and vouch for shady Bitcoiners.  Terrahash, Active Mining, Lab_Rat...  Though the content of his posts varies, research shows that the meaning is universally "yo money's gone."

He's simply saying here that he met the lawyer. Too much uncertainty here. If he can manage to dispel of someone's concern, then I think he should do so.

As for him being involved with these companies in any way, do you think his relationships ended all pretty for all of them? Ask him about it - you might be surprised to know how they ended (at least one of them). And he might be a risky & involved investor at some level (it's apparently hard to find any actually safe investments in the bitcoin community). I'm not much different... like I said in past comment, I've been burned several times by actual scams/frauds. And the law eventually does arrest people (if needed) and confiscate & liquidate assets... and re-distribute proceeds to victims (such as myself in those cases). So, given this is can happen more than once for some people, don't consider interest by such in LRM and the times he/she clears up myths as vouching for shady ventures. We have to be able to clear out the uncertainty & identify speculation from actual facts - I think bargraphics was doing that here.

I could say the same of Dave of MegaBigPower that has sold LR the BitFury hardware. He was involved with Tom of bASIC and now Zach with LRM. But I won't say it because I think Dave is a legit businessman. And by the way, Tom of bASIC eventually did return people's money (even though it was less since bitcoin prices went up) - but Tom was right to do so because his proposed products were priced in dollars (unlike LRM's bonds which were priced in BTC).

I call bullshit.  I get not being able to answer how and what to do. . . there is no reason what the problem is and who may or may not be initiating action can not be said prior to how the problem is solved and what will be done about it.

Not entirely clear on how to read your sentence, but if I'll try to answer.

I do not know what the issue is with LRM,

I also don't know why nothing can be said although in any business it is usually wise to wait until your lawyer gives you the go ahead to say anything if that's what their opinion is.

Thanks for giving the rabid masses some bones to gnaw..... maybe we can make soup!

I have previously advocated for Lab_Rat and his services.

I have reconsidered and now withdraw my support.

I am sorry if I have caused anyone pain or loss but I was indeed acting on  the best information that I had at the time.

To cause loss was not my intent as I saw Lab_Rat's offerings as a good deal.

I no longer consider them to be so.

I do so wish things were otherwise.

We need to visit LRM mine.

To see if hardware is real, to see if all this history is real.

We haven't any proof that 17 TH/s isn't just some Th/s bought at cex.io with our money...

Pretty sure Bargraphics visited the data centre I may be mis-remembering but I am like 85% sure.

I did visit him and I saw all of the gear for the 25TH mining away. This is the same trip where I met his lawyer as well.

No I do not have any idea on why this is taking so long, but it is strictly out of Lab Rats hands at the moment. It would most likely cause a bigger delay to try and go with a different lawyer since this one knows all of the workings of Lab Rat Mining as he's been part of it since Day 1 from my understanding.

Try to focus on the real issues, not the make believe ones.

The real issue is there's no communication and lack of transparency. Those won't be resolved until the Lawyer is done. A vicious circle it seems.
