anyone remember what happen to BTCGarden with the person who complained to Chinese police...

If someone done similar (contact Chinese police and complained about ponzi scheme) they would be forced to shut down and return investors money.

I'll be in China in 3 weeks, we may have to group up to make it more credible when complaining.

PS. I personally don't want to go this path but if they turn out to be fraudulent then justice needs to be served... "The Law Way"

I think that they still have one final chance to prove themselves. Let's wait for their next communication before we decide what to do next.

Seriously I don't want to go this path, I would like them to come good and just communicate (as we all do) no matter how bad the situation is.

there seems to be many smart people involve (including investors) and maybe we could all input suggestions on how to get best results for all investors.
If they're having major problems with this 1st gen chip, maybe they should just drop it and use all resources on 2nd gen chip.   /just a suggestion  Undecided

The money is lost even if it is a ponzi scheme. Their silence speaks volumes. If it were anyone else running a legit operation they would be freaking out about these share prices. They'll let the price drop to 0 and not care when a corporation is supposed to legally profit for shareholders? It doesn't make sense.

You don't know what their scam is in the end. It could just as well be that they have working hardware, but want all the profit for themselves. So they create uncertainty with all their bullshit, suspiciously show very little hashing etc and drive the price down close to zero, then buy up all the shares. And then suddenly, when everyone has completely lost trust and they have 99+% of the shares, they suddenly do start to openly mine and can say "well, we told you all along, you just didn't have trust in us", thus saving themselves from the legal threats. The stock price would shoot up again dramatically and they would have earned millions in share appreciation already, let alone the mining income.

I don't really think that is the scam they're doing, but it could just as well be. All that I'm practically sure of is that they are doing a scam, whatever the exact scheme might be.

Just get out of this mess and buy yourself some safe and reliable ASICMINER.

That is possible too but that would probably still be a crime.

This stock is worth less than 0.0001 now. There is a strong chance that legal action will be taken. Too many people have lost too much money and the Labcoin team seems not to care.

Think of how many people lost their life savings from this. Millions of dollars were lost.

User "Labcoin" has a Skype Name in his Profile named "delaria"

User  "Delaria" on bitcointalk  is a italian Guy who run 3 avalons some months ago under the Name "Labcoin"

Dont you guys think User "Labcoin"  is an italian aka Fabrizio?

Got a link for that second claim? If this is true, I revise my opinion.

That would be evidence proving without a doubt that Fabrizio has direct involvement with Labcoin. He will have a difficult time denying it.

My opinion is
Fabrizzio is bullshitting us
I have a hunch  after I saw his face http://www.linkedin.com/in/fabriziotatti
looks a bit wizzley

Maybe this whole thing was based on 2-3 Avalons just to keep the moral up , so they can get rid of the shares above IPO,
and than buying them back below IPO, no harm right?

Fabrizzio  doesnt seem to know a thing about bitcoin, just started working in what appears a fairly decent job at OPPO, and is the only one who's identity is absolutely clear. We may have to go through him to find the others, but I very much doubt he is the guy behind this.

No, they communicate different. Labcoin is Samuel Noi.

Perhaps Burnside knew it was a scam and had to shut down his site because of stuff like that. The last thing anyone wants is the SEC to get involved but that is something which could happen. The people associated with Labcoin who live in the USA should be worried.

My guess is they will try to act like they don't even know what Labcoin is and act like someone stole their identities.

How would they return investors money without cooperation from Burnside or the blockchain? That is if they even have the money.

What money? The money is in the share price.

So how do we know again that Howard is real?

THe linkedin profile is of a real person. That he is involved in labcoin is not proven, though likely (putting the linkedin profile of someone unrelated in the IPO prospectus would be utterly stupid). If you want to know more, just pick up the phone, call ITU and ask for a researcher called Zhenhua Howard Wang, and find out. Or try to connect through linkedin

What money? The money is in the share price.  Unless the owners sold some shares there is no money to recoup.

What I would like to understand is the relationship between all these different people. How did TheSwede get into this? Who did he talk to? How much does he really know?

IMO, Theswede knows everything and is the "mastermind" behind labcoin. He put himself forward as a "spokesperson" to be able to dodge behind that title when the shit hits the fan, but his statements make it almost impossible to believe he is just doing PR without direct involvement. And seriously, who would hire theswede to be a spokesperson of anything?

"Sam" may or may not exist. He might be a fabrication of theswede, or he might be one of the techies in HK. Hard to know for sure, but theswede knows who he is, theswede is within reach of US law, and in violation of US laws, so Id focus on that first. Has to be the easiest way to get to the bottom of this, assuming you can uncover his identity.

How can Fabrizio sign a document without really knowing what he was doing? He surely trusts the people he signed documents for. Who are they?

Asked him that too, and wonder myself. Its possible Fabrizio doesnt want to give up the identities of the people just yet, before having consulted with them, before having felt enough heat on himself. Assuming one of them is a friend, that actually makes sense. What doesnt make sense is that he would know none of them.

And what about Howard Wang? Can someone in the USA or California try and contact him??

Why dont you? I went after fabrizzio, Ill let someone else do the talking to Wang.

TheSwede and Labcoin are not the same person... their writing style is different, their posting time is different.. I don't think so.

As for the rest... who knows. Your theory is as good as any at this point.

I might be able to contact Howard if someone can find a way (email, phone, etc). I couldn't find anything about him apart from the linkedin profile.

So how do we know again that Howard is real?

this is bad (if true)

Its not as bad as it could have been. If Fabrizzio is not bullshitting (or misled even more than he claims to have been), then at least there has been a production run of something at some point. I dont see that leading to a profitable venture though, and so far, my conjecture I posted earlier still fits the known facts fairly well.

It's probably a complete scam.

thank you
exactly my point ^^
