There are a lot of steps required to use DAPP. The conversion of fiat to ETH is required as well as the ETH needs to be transferred to the platform that will be in use.

It still takes many steps to actually use a dApp. You need to convert fiat to ETH. You must transfer ETH to the platform you will be using. This all generates a cost.

And so far, we have no dApp that is revolutionary and do something impossible to do using another centralized platform. Ethereum still has several problems to solve and only when it is a PoS platform will we have quality dApps.

Hi dear community,
Why is there no usefull dApp for ETH like food delivery or uber clones but only crap like CryptoKitties?!
Did nobody every bother creating something more sophisticated like a simple Browser Game with ETH or even a MMORPG utilizing Cryptos for ingame purchases?
First off, is there actually a need to decentralize food delivery? As you're ordering from a central authority(a business) anyway? A DApp for fastfood delivery is unnecessary.

As for Uber clones, I've seen a few projects that are aiming for the same goal already. I'm just not sure how good/bad they are.

Also, there are already games that uses ETH or blockchain in general(to some extent). We have Ether Legends, Zombie Battleground, etc. Not sure about MMORPGs though.

When looking for porn content or porn games I can buy with crypto I also could find absolutely nothing. Didn't the knowledge that sex sells arrive in the crypto industry already?
What are you talking about, there are a few sites that accepts crypto payments already.

Dude. Do your research. Simply doing a google search for "porn site that accepts crypto" can give you a good number of lists. Also, if you want to know a list of sites whereas you can use your crypto on, check out https://coinsources.io/ (disclaimer: this is my site)

It will show you the current popularity and use of certain Dapps.

I wouldn't say that there has been zero use of Dapps on ethereum so far, Augur released in beta after years of development and has seen some nice growth. As a prediction market it stands to be the most utilized one to date. It alone has tremendous potential.

As far as MMORPG's, Im with you dude, I would love to see a big game get released that had an in game crypto token that could be traded for real money. But creating these games is extremely difficult and labor intensive. Can you imagine how many employees work at blizzard? But these games are in the works (like 0xuniverse), give them time.

On a final note I think it's important to realize that the most utulized Dapps so far have been the gambling/investing ones like Powh3d, Fomo3d and cryptokitties. IMO this is because they have that built in "trustless escrow" and provided the most upfront utility for developers to use to build something, over time more sophisticated Dapps will come.....like Augur.

Good luck

Hi dear community,

I will make this post/question short:

Why is there no usefull dApp for ETH like food delivery or uber clones but only crap like CryptoKitties?!
Did nobody every bother creating something more sophisticated like a simple Browser Game with ETH or even a MMORPG utilizing Cryptos for ingame purchases?

When looking for porn content or porn games I can buy with crypto I also could find absolutely nothing. Didn't the knowledge that sex sells arrive in the crypto industry already?

It feels a bit like the whole crypto industry has missed to jump on the train if it comes to reallife usage of crypto. Why is that? Is the implementation too difficult or the legal context a problem? Is it due to a lack of game designer and producers accepting crypto as a means of payment or is the whole problem more complicated?

I mean the dark web and deep web is full of services you can aquire with crypto, but why are most of the marketplaces restrained to the dark side of the internet and illegal things rather than reallife goods or services in the indexed internet?

I'm looking forward for your input, my dear fellow Cryptonians!

EDIT: The only thing that comes close to a proper game is 0xUniverse. Only one proper game in the whole crypto world?!
