Guys, you are subscribed to Medium of Langpie?

No. Should I subscribe?

Developers announced an agreement with some large venture fund

What kind of fund was it?

Well, they wanted to remain anonymous. Most importantly, they invested $ 80,000

Then why did not this affect the overall scale?

The fact is that they invested in bitcoins, and the ether wallet is tied to the site.

Okay, I seem to have sorted this out a bit. True, I do not quite understand why it needs decentralization

Well, it's convenient. In addition, the community itself determines the need for language groups. The price is also likely to be determined by the community

This is a good idea. But what if the service becomes uncontrollable? If there are too many proposals for the services of one language, for example, English?

What I like about this project is that it creates an opportunity to earn translators. It is very interesting

It's laudable - to take care of others)) Developers themselves will recruit translators, I understand correctly? How to get to them?)

This is another interesting point. Anyone can become a translator, just pass the test

In this case, fraud is possible. Any fool can ask his friend to pass a test for him. What will happen then?

The developers say that it will also be necessary to pass several free orders that will determine the qualification of the translator

Now that's really interesting!

Passing the test does not guarantee a high qualification

So, is this some kind of Google Translator analog?

Well, to some extent you're right. Both are engaged in translations. However, on this similarities end

As I understand it, this platform translates live speech?

Yes, that's it. The only thing you need to pay attention to is the translation is not performed by the program, but by real translators

Is not this a step back? Is there no program that can translate live speech?

Now, for the time being, there is not a sufficiently high-quality speech recognition program, what to say about voice translation

I will not argue on this topic, I do not know enough about this

sounds like a market for this sort of services, what a good idea.

Well, if the developers really do everything, then it can be cool

Do you think something might go wrong? I think their campaign is not bad

I do not know, I'm still not familiar with this project) Actually, a lot can go wrong, so it's better not to guess

all translations platform to translate, its never perfect, because its only a program that use some kind of bot to translate
but i hope this langpie will be different than the others,,

In this case, the translation is performed by people, not by bots. LangPie is a network of translators, not a program
