If anything, they are far more religious than many religions today. Catholics? Numbers are hyper-inflated (because in many country the State pays them money for every registered catholic), and many just stick to baptism and funerals, not even bothering with Sunday mass, oh and occasionally marriage because its fashionable...

The rest of the Christians are a mixed bag, some devote, some only appearances.

I still have to find out why Muhammad wanted people to pray towards the city he was born (i know, a revelation, but still...), or why they were praying towards Jerusalem before that. But in any case, this made them get good with maps, so they could build the mosques pointing properly. See? Civilization!

Yes I agree they are the largest religion today and they are still going to be the largest religion in 2050, imagine one big region in our planet is purely Islam, and there's no country in this world that has no Muslim community on it because once a person understands the true meaning of Islam he will embrace it.

There are currently over 1 billion Catholics in the world today. This doesn't include other Christian denominations such as Anglican, Baptist, Orthodox, Protestant, etc, so Christianity is by far the largest religion and will most likely still be the largest in 2050.

Bitcoin is not a religion but a currency and it will be better for it to be a currency than a religion as religion is associated with wars, killing and wickness. Atheism and agnosticism are very different. You could say Atheism is a religion, as it brings its own dogma and faith (in non believing) while the agnostics choose a more humble open minded posture.

Modern china... still tends to follow a lot of old customs and silly practices, some dating to their traditional religions. They also influenced their neighbors who tend to do the same to this day, even in the most christian Asian country of Korea...

We need to have balance at that in order to live in peace, otherwise we will have problems with that worldwide. There is a lot of hate created from religious topics.
