New In Town...
Guys, I have a question since I'm new to "cold storage." If I store all my coins into the card, how do I take it out to use it?

You simply import/sweep the private key into your client of choice.  Check out this website for some information on how to do that: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/How_to_import_private_keys
Where do I find my so called... private key...

For these, you would use a program or website (like https://www.bitaddress.org/) to generate a public/private key set.

If you want to use https://www.bitaddress.org/ then... click on the "Paper Wallet" tab along the top, then check the box for "BIP38 Encrypt?", enter a suitably long passphrase (and make sure you don't forget it  Grin), then click on "Generate".  This will produce public/private key pairs that are BIP38 encrypted for you to use on these cards.

Aluminum will melt with simple wood/large match fire. If they were made out of steel...

With the possible exception of aluminum foil, this statement is very, very wrong. Aluminum may have a low melting point, but it is excellent at transferring heat, much more so than steel. Aluminum is very, very difficult to weld precisely because you have to put an enormous amount of heat into it faster than the aluminum can transfer heat away from the point of welding. I have personally taken a blow torch to many, many aluminum objects (generally engine cases) in order to get the aluminum to expand (i.e. for dropping in bearings). I have mig-welded on the ends of steel studs that were stuck in aluminum engine cases to the point where the steel did melt, and the aluminum -- despite having a lower melting point than steel -- was completely unaffected.

I seriously doubt you could do any damage to these with an ordinary fire.

Looks so good! I want to order one, neet to get more bitcoins. Can you engrave a name in it? Or maybe a custom vector image to it?

For custom orders, shoot us an email from our contact page. We've done a few custom backs already. All we need is a vector file.

Cheers
Do you do cards with other coin logos? Like LTC or other stuff?

Yup! Right now Both BTC/LTC are options on our site. If you would like a different coin, send us a message!

p.s, for those that have received their cards, would you mind leaving us some trust feedback? It would be greatly appreciated!

I received the shipping confirmation 5 days ago, so I guess the card will arrive at home this or the next week (I'm from Barcelona).

Got mine yesterday, they're great! Edges just a bit rough, but very high quality overall. They're pretty much exactly how they seem from the website.

Thank you for review. I wouldn't try to test burning them. Aluminum will melt with simple wood/large match fire. If they were made out of steel...

New In Town...
Mine apparently got here late last night (after I checked the mail)!  I'll post pictures after work.

Got my cards and they are great!

They seem very durable and the printing is very clear and easy to read (QR codes work perfectly).  As mentioned above, they aren't exactly the same size as a credit card, but they will easily fit into most wallets.

These seem to be machine cut/stamped which gives them kind of a sharp edge if you run your finger along it, but I don't really see this as a problem.  You could potentially use it to cut yourself free if you ever get taken hostage or you can use them to defend yourself in a mugging situation (MacGyver would love these things).

Here are some very poorly shot pictures!

Thanks Crypto Cards!

These look pretty good. I like the red one the best.

I'm looking to order a metal-based card in the near future, so I'll keep an eye on this thread.

No reviews despite several people saying they would do so. By now many cards should have been received. What's going on?

Got mine today, my birthday! Smiley

The card is slightly longer and not as wide as a credit card. I am still able to fit it in my wallet where my credit cards go but it is a little tight. it seems think enough to withstand most normal use without damage. You could bend them if you really tried and if kept in a wallet I could see them bending slightly over time but nothing I wouldnt expect. I was able to scratch it pretty easily with a pocket knife which was disappointing but over all Im pleased and could see buying again. The card looks exactly like what is displayed on the website but here is a front/back shot of mine.

Feel free to send a tip to the QR code if this was any help Wink

I still haven't received mine.  It was supposedly shipped last week (order placed 1/5/14 - 12 days ago, shipped 1/10/14 - 7 days ago), how long does it take an envelope to travel within the continental US North America?

Edit:  I guess they're Canadian. Eh?  Grin
