I didn't think it had been added to my watch list, because I'm not getting notifications about new posts. I even checked the box under each post to do that. So I added it to my watch list again to see if that helps. It doesn't.

Thanks. I tried posting to that one. Nobody responded.

Also, it's funny, but when I come on here, I try several things that don't work at all:

I click on "Watchlist" and nothing is listed, even though I check the option to add to the watchlist in every topic I post under.

So then I see the option on that same page that says "Add posted-to topics to watchlist". So I click that and it says "This will add all topics you've posted in to your watch list." I click "Do it."

Then I click Watchlist again, and there is still nothing there. lol

If nothing else, I'm learning an exercise in patience. Cheesy

Why do you need to add to watch-list if you've posted in the topic, isn't it essentially the same thing?

The limit become higher at some activity level (28 activity?). If you have a dynamic IP it should be easy to simple disconnect and re-connect to change you IP as the limit isn't related to your user but just the IP.

There's no subforum but a few threads. Probs best using google to search if this is not the one: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-memecoin-2400-update-memecoin-to-the-moon-217526

I thought since I'm a newbie I had to meet a post requirement. I've been logged in for at least 4 hours, I think.

Tells you top left. You just need one post consisting of several sentences, then you can move out of the newbie section, and since you can post in here I think you can post everywhere else too?

Yes I've looked at wheretomine. But the figures haven't changed in over a week, even though it claims to update every 5 minutes. Also, I emailed their support twice and got no response at all.

I would love to post in the Meme Coin forum, but I can't post outside of this one and the Newbie one.

How long have you been logged in for? You should be able to after 4 hours.

OK thanks for your help!

I finally successfully posted a thread in the newbie forum asking for suggestions on *accurate* sites that show the difficulty and profitability for memecoin. Every site I look at says something different. The thread is already on page 6 or something. :/

Have you tried http://www.wheretomine.com/

Maybe ask in one of the Memecoin threads as I'm sure some actual miners will be of better help.

OK I looked up TOR, and I'm not using that. What made you think I was?

I didn't mean you was, more of definitely don't use it if you hate the waits as so many connections are banned here. I guess I didn't make that clear.

What is TOR?

I just don't understand the thinking behind having to wait after you log in to be able to post.

Security precautions; stop spammers and bots etc.

TOR = The Onion Router. Google it.

The main problem seems to be the confusing error messages.
I keep getting an error saying I have last posted less than 360 seconds ago when in fact I didn't post jack shit Tongue

It's not an error, you're just not waiting the full 360 seconds. Log-ins, searches and attempted posts count towards this.

OK here I am trying to post again. I just got home from being out for about an hour. I remained logged in. So it's been far more than 180 seconds. lol

Testing...

There you go; It's a miracle! I'd advise against using TOR if you're annoyed by the waits after log-ins  Grin.

I keep trying to post in the Newbie forum, and every time I do, it tells me my last post was less than 180 seconds ago. This happens even though I haven't posted in at least a week.

How can I fix this?
Thanks!
James

Log-ins and searches also count. Just make sure you wait the full 180 seconds before you try.
