It's all about the game, and how you play it
1btc would be worthless by the time this ends!
Actually it'll be worth thousands

the question is if i were to start solving hashes by hand would i make one btc faster than i would posting in this thread, on that note i say we develope brain miners maybe using mousebrains?

Well, yes.  Posting in this thread is indeed highly inefficient, so I encourage all of you to let it die....

it's well past 24h at this point
I believe it's 24 hours since the last post. So the first 24 hour gap between posts.
"Simple, the last post to this thread in 24 hours wins 1btc from my account. " reads to me that the post happening 24 hours from when i made the first post
I think joeyjoe won't spend his/her bitcoin because this thread will never end...  or maybe it will be banned/locked at some point... that's probably the only way for somebody to win Smiley

Thats the idea! maybe when its worth next to nothing i'll stick up to 2btc. but it will end eventually!
This makes me believe otherwise.

Ships of diffrent lengths with diffrent values would be a good idea

That wouldnt be too difficult to do, it was the orginal plan. But to make sure things run smoothly i had to run it with the same amount / length.

Sekioh - Really like your idea!

My idea would be add a 1 square chest for every deposit over 1btc or something, and allot a % of that deposit as the prize, so more deposits = more random chests to hit other than a ship. Deposit 1btc, 0.01 bitcent in a chest randomly, they won't increase in value, just the new chests would get the 1% to it. That'd work in side by side with your 10% discount on over 50 clicks (which comes to just over 1btc). So after a few deposits (1, 5, 1.5, 1.9, 1.4) you'd have chests of (0.01, 0.05, 0.015, 0.019, 0.014) on 5 random squares. Cheesy

You would still be winning more than losing, because per click is still cheaper than those rewards there, but it'd be a 'free click' basically worth of bitcoins for anyone who does get lucky and hit one. If all the ships are found and theres any treasures left they could all be 'opened' and added to the pool for the next round, or roll over?
