They did nothing for me about the s-7 batch 1. My loss was about 150$

The problem is math.

3500gh vs 4700gh

612 usd with shipping vs 500 usd with coupons and shipping

my failure rate on s-7 is 1 of 19 and the fail was low hashing 4400 gh vs 4800 gh

my fail rate on avalons is 1 in 11 and it was a full board 1650 gh vs 3300 gh

I did get service for it but it was my error so I paid for that.

To bring all those factors it does favor the discounted s-7.

I am not buying it , but I am not buying the avalon 6 in general I am mostly just annoyed at the gear choices I have.

Well it is Easter I should stay off the site and hang with the family.

I'm with you on that. I was all set to join in this group buy, but the new price with coupon for the s7 is just too hard to pass up.

It also made me suspicious that they put batch 15 on their website before batch 14 was even due to ship out.

I have 5 working kits so the first one to buy 1 from him I will send a kit free. I have 1 extra four pin wire so you could buy 2 from him and I would hook you up.

The game has become very hard for a 5k guy.

you have 5k to spend and 5 kwatts to burn in power. Bitmaintech pretty much dumps on you if the gear breaks down. I purchased 19 s-7's starting with batch 1 and they basically said fuck you phil about my dud batch 1. Worse then that they just never answered me except for 1 time and it was a simple don't ask me ask so and so. I sent emails and posted about it more then 1 dozen times and never got another response.
So I am trying to push Avalon's as much as I can. So bitmaintech just kills off the price with a huge drop.
Kind of depressing.

Any how if you do buy from holyscott pm me if you need the kit.
first usa buy gets 1 kit for free 0 nothing.

@ holy scott please let me know if you sell one to some one in the usa so I know whom to send it to.

I lowered pricing on Avalon 6 units on my website to $625 which is $593 after coupon code. Again I am not selling the controller kits, as I do not have extras available. I have 5x units in NY. and can include the controller kit if someone wants to take all 5x Av6 units.

holy scott does have some in New York not sure how many kits he has.

but you could pm him and ask. for me I just can not see doing this group buy as much as I prefer avalon 6 over bitmaintech.

the market is going to be flooded with cheap s-7's which means bitmaintech will be adding something else to their farms.

The s-7 clocked down from 4700 rpm to 3500 rpm allows fans to be set pretty low

2800 rpm.

with a flex duct like this one

you can lower the noise a lot and direct the hot air out of the house

so 482 after coupon and 54 shipping is 536 the duct is 48 you are at 584

the avalon 6 is 600 + 12 = 612 at best

Frankly I no longer like bitmaintech since they never made up for my batch 1 dog machine which runs 5 to 10% under hash.

but I have a lot of trouble selling the avalon 6 at a big premium over the s-7.

Can the S7 really be as quiet as the A6 with a slight underclock to 3800ghs?
