OK here goes….I am a total noob at this crypto coin stuff. I am smart enough to see there can be some major opportunity in all this. I have been trying to find out how I can set up my Mac to mine Leafcoin. I know you need a bunch of big time equipment to play with the big dogs but I just want to see how it all works and learn as much as I can before I go investing a bunch of money in equipment . All I have been able to figure out so far is getting a Leafaddress (fZW1UBQ4RvwSCFnrs8JAe5zjjFVLGHRTjT) that wasn't to hard.

Any advise or info would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

We are having problems with the latest Leafcoin client at MiningPool.co

$leafcoind getinfo

...
    "errors" : "EXCEPTION: St12out_of_range       \nvector::_M_range_check       \nleafcoin in ProcessMessages()       \n"
...

Have tried deleting block chain, peers.dat etc, always comes back to the same error.

Any ideas on what the problem is?

Fix coming soon?

can you zap me with your debug.log... ( last 100kb ). pm me.

i have never seen this one.

PM sent.

Coinwarz shows wrong difficulty for LeafCoin!!

You run the calculator and it tells you you're making a number.  Then you mine and realize you're way off.  The result of course is a loss.

Now it's showing difficulty of 0.27016387  but on the pool side, it's 9.06980004

A big difference.

They probably didn't bother updating there wallet

These two pools are definately working fine:

Pool 1 - http://www.xhash.net
Pool 2 - http://leaf.majorminer.co.uk

leaf.updamoon seems to be on right chain. I dont know if they payout, if they dont. I will query them for the `whatsup´

miningpool.co has confirmed that they updated.

Then the p2pools.

http://timbercode.com:9166/static/  - DEAD HASHRATE, WILL REMOVE
http://rav3n.dtdns.net:9166/ - DEAD, WILL REMOVE
http://taken.pl:9166 - WRONG CHAIN, WILL REMOVE
http://leaf.p2nex.net:9166/ - NO WEBPAGE, WILL REMOVE
http://leaf.p2nex.net/static/ - SHOW DOGECOIN, WILL REMOVE
http://solidpool.org:9166 - NO LEAF, WILL REMOVE
http://nr1.co.in:9166 - CANNOT CHECK, SO WILL REMOVE

The reason why ALL p2pools had dead hashrate is because the charity share v1.6 version of leafcoin broke all p2pools.  Once an update is finished, most of these p2pools will be back.

How can I mine a coin that has no pools working??  The team need to fix this issue. Otherwise hours of mining power goes to total waste.  Completely opposite what leaf is suppose to stand for.  My miners were working for hours with nothing to show for.

leaf.majorminer.co.uk is working fine.
