Yesterday there were two games and today there is a break in the Bangladesh Premier League. The first match yesterday was played between Khulna Tigers and Chittagong Kings. I think Khulna Tigers almost losing the game if they would not get Mahidul Islam Ankon in the end. He scored 59 in just 22 balls, what a power hitter. At that moment, this player gave huge lead to Khulna Tigers in the game. And if he would not played this innngs then for sure Chittagong Kings came closer and they would not have given up.

By the way, Mahidul Islam Ankon also got the title of player of the match. In the opponent side, only Shamim Hossain played good and scored 72 but except him none of the players tried to push the team into the win.

Well, tomorrow is the game between Dhaka Capital and Durbar Rajshahi. I think Durbar Rajshah are the favorites in this match and at the same time they are confident as they have a better run rate. On the other hand, the opponent team Dhaka Capital are also coming here after losing against Rangpur Riders.

Rangpur Riders has won the match against Sylhet Strikers and Rangpur Riders team has shown great progress in 4th match. Rangpur Riders played very well and won the match with good runs. We hope they continue to play like this in the future as well.Rangpur Riders won by 34 runs and Sylhet Strikers fell short . Rangpur Riders is playing amazing in both games . The 4th match between Sylhet Strikers and Rangpur Riderswas played at Shere Bangla National Stadium . Rangpur Riders team won the toss and elected to batting first. CANT batsmen also played well but they lost the match by 10 runs as they were weak and the entire team was out. Their batsmen should play well in the next match and also improve their pace. If they don't work hard at it they won't be strong in this league.

The fourth game of the Super Smash which was played in between Otago and Central Districts. Otago were batting first and they tried to score high but gave a normal target of 154 runs. When Central Districts came to bat they made these runs in the 19th over. This is due to Otago could not made the good start and also they were coming under pressure, resulting in a defeat. Central Districts also did not have too good a start as Jack Boyle was out making only 2 runs but then Will Young made a 50 and the remaining batsmen also played well.

The opener Rony Talukdar made a 41 runs but there was no one who could stay with him or provide some sort of partnership. They lost five wickets when the score was 91 runs. The middle and lower order batsmen provided no resistance to the bowlers and got out very quickly.

None of the batsmen scored a century but William Bosisto was closest, made 75 not out. If it had been a one day game then surely he would have completed his century. By the way, if Khulna Tigers win then he is deserving to be player of the match. Now I hope they will go with the equal performance & effort with the bowl

Few people remember that the Bangladesh Premier League is one of the oldest franchise T20 leagues which is currently operational. And this is going to be the 11th season of the BPL. For comparison, the Pakistan Super League has completed 9 seasons, while SA20 and Lanka Premier League have completed two and five seasons respectively. And it is surprising to see this league survive and even thrive, despite all the political upheaval in Bangladesh, and also despite all the infighting within the BCB.

Another season of BPL is here and also at the same time BBL is running too. Well the second match of Bangladesh league was played in between Rangpur Riders and Dhaka Capital. This game was won by Rangpur Riders. Last year, Babar Azam played for Rangpur Riders and he joined them later after some of the games. Babar Azam played very well there and became man of the match in many of the games but now they are missing him. He is playing for his own country against South Africa. At the same time, Babar was not playing well in T20 but well in ODI. Even without him, Rangpur Riders had a good victory Dhaka Capital.

Martin Guptill contributed 31 runs by facing 23 balls interesting to see his inning with two fours and one sixes. Sean Solia skipper also played well contributed 20 runs by facing 20 balls. Otago team showed excellent performance in bowling Dean Foxcroft took four key wickets and Andrew Hazeldine also bowl brilliant spell took two wickets. Otago team scoring 26 runs not losing any wicket but rain affect the results of match and the game ended without any result. If this game had been completed, Otago team would have easily won this game. Auckland team both first and second game is abounded dueto rain

Yes ,you are right. That was low score match and I expected that Otago cricket team will win this match but that was unlucky situation for Otago team because they were in good combination and that could chase the score in just 11 overs . But who can do anything in this case? Because that is decision of nature and we have to admit that . The performance of Auckland team players was very bad because that team played could not make handsome target on the board. Guptil started to make runs but after no body make 30 + runs in this match and 8 players could not enter in double figures and whole team could make only 107 runs in this match .But team has to note this mistakes which they did in this match because if they will point out their mistakes, they will get success in the next matches.

In Super smash competition, second match was completed among Canterbury squad against Otago squad. Third match of same competition will begin tomorrow and this match Otago says emerged victory with 10 scores and this was the close fight among them and interesting match was played both squad. Jamal Todd and Dale Phillips these batters displayed bad performance and when I see I feel this match was lost Otago squad. But Max Chu batter of Otago played a crucial role in batting when both starters showcased bad performance and this batter Max Chu collected 82 scores off 46 deliveries. Canterbury squad missed a victory with 10 scores and unable to achieve all scores and collected 155 scores.
