It was a really close game and turned out to be the perfect start for the league in this season. Fakhar Zaman showed his class, albeit for the losing team. Anrich Nortje took just one wicket, but he was being economical. From the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, it was a team effort. But they narrowly missed out qualifying for the regional final. The final round will be played by a total of 5 teams - Scotland, Netherlands, Italy, Jersey and Guernsey. Out of them, the top 2 teams will qualify for the next T20 World Cup. Given the quality of cricket in the region, I would say that the ICC should allot three instead of the current two slots for Europe.
