The domestic 4-day competition (Ranji Trophy 2024) has started from yesterday. A total of 38 first-class teams are taking part in this competition, which is divided into an elite division (32 teams) and plate division (6 teams). Manipur got promoted to elite division this year, but they are really struggling in their first match. They got bowled out for just 137 runs, with Kangabam Priyojit Singh topscoring at 45. In return, Maharashtra are at 123/3. Punjab got bowled out for 152 against Karnataka, while Jammu & Kashmir made just 100 versus Himachal Pradesh.
In BBL, Adelaide Strikers team won toss and get a chance to choose first bat or bowl and AS team took bowling in pitch. This game was held on Adelaide Oval stadium and today this stadium was lucky for Adelaide Strikers team. Perth Scorchers team scored total 153 runs by losing 7 wickets in 20 overs but this runs was not enough for win and they lost this game very easily because Adelaide Strikers team easily chase down this target and remaining 9 wickets and 23 balls left for bat. M.Short leader of Adelaide Strikers team get a player of game game award due to brilliant performance in bowling and batting both. Adelaide Strikers vs Perth Scorchers
Perth Scorchers squad batting was continuing on crease and their batting inning was quite impressive and tremendous.
