DOGE would probably be a good idea. Still I doubt that Coinbase is doing that.

This is most likely someone's idea of a joke/attempt at pump, but I do think Coinbase would increase their user base tremendously if Dogecoin was used.
They should add FRK cause its best coin.

Maybe it is fake. But Dogecoin has more users than all altcoins combined.

With Dogecoin they will add a lot of new costumers - so it makes sense for them to add Dogecoin.

Strange they accepting LTC and doge after both coins faced a great loss of value, market cap and hashrate last months
LTC is on the way up the last few days. Doge has always been a pretty harmless but fun coin so but they also have a huge community. They are certainly the two that most people tend to know other than Bitcoin. Though of course with alts this could just be a way to pump, etc.

I am not entirely sure of the authenticity (my source does not work for Coinbase, but he has contacts), although this certainly explains the 50% flash rise in LTC.
