I don't doubt about this, you are saying the real fact about crypto, if you don't spend time learning you will never get very good, scammers always find new ways to scam people and the more you learn about this better, you won't fall for any bad tricks

Smile! Is good to be learning day by day but this can only minimize the chance of been scamed not to eradicate scam. No matter how you learn or make a research, you will still for victim at times.

Never stop learning, this is so simple to say yet its hard to follow this one. Sometimes the best lesson are come from a failure so I think this is normal now to a newbie and I’m sure they will learn easily if they got scam. Knowing the best project is a must, and of course if you’re on a shit project better not to expect too much from that.
We should never stop learning because in the future it can be our best asset to earn and make more profit. I know the struggle to learn more new things especially in this field, and it's not easy just like that but if you have a determination to learn, I'm sure in the end you will become knowledgeable. Most of the newbies have difficulty finding the best projects, and right now the market is now full of scam and shit project plus, sometimes the decent project that we find turns into a shit project. We should always exert more effort and time to learn new things and having various knowledge in cryptocurrency will totally help you determine which project will have potential in the future. That's right mate, don't expect too much on shit projects and it's better to avoid them than risk your money to it.
But, this time I have a lot of time to learn more things because we are on enhanced community quarantine and somehow reading more articles/books about cryptocurrency and blockchain helps me to reduce my boredom in our house, and at the same time improving my knowledge.

I think experience is a good teacher after all. Get scammed is not bad at all you learn something from that and make you be aware, careful & wise. I think people already know the consequences invest on cryptocurrency but they ignore it because of greedy.

When you simply look into the core reason why most people are getting hacked is, clicking anonymous links and installing software without bothering the checksum. Yes, it is all about knowledge which is possible only if we keep on learning new things and getting ourselves aware on various recent incidents with respect to online security and other related things.I believe into this forum whenever I'm not sure about something I will straightly come here to open in a new topic to get answers for my doubts. This community is always awesome to get me what I am exactly looking for. Without help from this community, I would have turned a victim some long time back itself.

It is just because most people here who fell to the scheme are they who just focus on the profit only. They are too focus the profit and forget to find the basic thing before spend their money. Maybe I will understand if there is many people who get scammed when they come to crypto at 2010-2013 ago because at that time there was no one who give an advice to start to invest. But if compare with the current situation, I feel they are fool to be scammed. Because if you try to googling an advice starting to invest then it will be much people who provide it and you just only read it and understood it and I will bet you will never fall to the scammer. Learning never gets old it exposes us to new knowledge daily. We should develop the habit of learning things that are worthwhile.
That is right never stop learning because that is the only weapon we can use in any battle might have to face in coming years especially cryptocurrency has evolve into something beyond our thought. Sure blockchain will keep on improving as days go by and so are we should not get left behind in order to keep up to dates with new innovations blockchain will bring.

You should be happy because you are not one of the victims that get hack or scam. You must still be careful because the scammer or the hacker still at the outside and waiting for their time. As long as you can still protect yourself by reading the preventive way to secure your account and your wallet, you will not be their target. We need to always learn about how to protect our accounts so we can safe the money that we have.

In addition to all you have said which is of course true, most people hardly tell newbies or those showing interest of joining the crypto space the truth or rather the reality of things on ground. They might have different reasons but that doesn't cut the fact that, the risks etc that exists within the crypto space must be told. Most people join with different expectations and when it is not met are quick to say funny things which points to the fact, they lacked adequate knowledge. So at every point in time, in our own little ways lets make sure the risks etc of the crypto space is being explained this will go a long way in keeping them safe from scams, pump and dump coins etc. Lastly explaining what exists in the crypto space will increase their urge to learn more thus leading to more learning.

In crypto currency, either as a trader or an investor or a bounty hunter, there is a need to keep learning, and i mean learning daily if not, you will be left behind.
Alot of projects copying 2017 projects mode of conducting crowdfunding and road-map are no where today, while traders who do not learn by doing proper research activities find themselves in rekt.
Always do your own research, that way you learn even more.

A wise man said, "scientia potentia est" which is a Latin aphorism meaning "knowledge is power" (Francis Bacon). Indeed knowledge is power, that is to say, you need to learn in order to have power over what you want because it is through learning that you will understand how best to guide yourself. You have clearly distinguished it all, most people failed to understand that lies in the crypto space and that's the reason why most always fell for scams, hacks or makes mistakes like losing their keys etc. Therefore I agree with you, until we start learning what is obtainable here, we might keep falling for the wrong things such Ponzi etc.

Well, it is good that you are pretty much aware into your surroundings keeping yourself safe and away from such schemes to avoid being hacked or getting scammed. It is really in need that we must educate ourselves into anything that is new from us to be able to easily adapt and manage to get into such thing properly to avoid doing mistakes that we might regret in the end. But, even if you have already learned the basics and do every precautionary measures needed to avoid unnecessary things to happen, still there can be instances that unexpected things do really happen which we cannot control. But being educated on the thing we do is decreasing the probability for bad things to happen because we are being aware and getting ourselves ready from it. Learning do also involve experiencing mistakes because we learn from our bad experiences as well so that when the same thing happens once again, we can be able to know what to do or if we will think about avoiding doing mistakes, then we will be more careful on our every moves to avoid regrets and doing mistakes. Learning must always be continuous because a lot more information and learnings will soon to come in front of us.

Good for you that you never experienced being hacked. You see, just as I thought I know enough learnings about crypto but I remembered my account was hacked before. Reason? I signed up in mining site. Never thought that upon signing up some of my account will get hacked.
I agreed upon your beliefs but hackers and scammers finds all the way to get some victims. It is our responsibility to think our actions. Regardless all the learnings, "awareness" is one of the important thing to consider.

My research was wrong several times in year 2028-2019 to select legit project. Now I think after learning and losing time, now i can select over 80-90 percent of legit project. Time also a problem last year or 2018, people didn't trust new projects, some legit project also dead. As new investor can easily trust new projects, new hunters can trust all new projects. Jump to:
