Well when i started trading, i already had some foundaments and knowledge about trading because i used to trade on forex before.

That is something that helped me a lot, anyway, trading with cryptos is not the same as forex, and you should know that.

But yes, some stuff is pretty similar to it.

How are people learning how to day trade? What are you methods?

Personally I've done the signal groups etc but found them very hit and miss. I'm not good enough to do my own TA (and can TA really help for day trading - no idea?).

Only method I've found that I find works was taught here: https://discord.gg/nCmjwmQ

It focuses on getting in and out of v.high volume coins as they naturally fluctuate.

Cheers!
Trading is not an easy thing to do and you also need a lot of money before you can start trading. I have seen a lot of people ask questions on how much they need to start trading and to be sincere you need big money to start  that’s why it is not meant for everyone, cause when you don’t have much, you will be limited on the number trades to take.

As for how to learn trading that’s no longer a hard thing cause there are lots of articles online to help you learn everything you would like to know about trading.

if you want be successful in day trading only thing works practice patience but most of traders run behind strategy and waste time and money
You can keep practising and you will never make profits by day trading if you are stubborn enough. This is not like a soccer match where you can practise to hone your skills. In fact very few skills are needed to be good in trading along with a good predicting ability and psyschoanalysis of the market composition.

Most traders do run after coins told to them by "shills" and that why they lose money. The shill decisively sold their coins luring the investor to buy it - typical market manipulation scam though not legally.

I do not think we need to learn too many theories about how to invest effectively. We only need to practice and draw experience for ourselves after capital losses. I think you should spend a little around $ 500 to test your investment strategies. Your skills and investment experience will improve sharply after 3 months.

One thing you need as a day trader is to remove and eliminate any form of greed. And always check volume, once the volume is constantly dropping remove profit and wait for another entry point

Yeah, your suggestion is good and I think one of the keys to be a profitable day trader is to always practice. Once you do it often, your emotion would be controlled so that you would not trade base on emotions which is the number one problem of the traders why they cannot trade properly. Getting emotional while trading has a bigger risk of incurring a loss because when you are at a profit, you would become greedy and when you are at a loss, you would become hopeful.

Learning how to trade is very similar to learning any other activity, you need to find the best way in which you learn and then follow that method, in my case I am way better learning from books than most people and it is also a lot more efficient and cheaper since you can learn most of what you need to know about trading from a few books that are relatively cheap.
Exactly, this is something that can basically be considered as trying to go to school or for some courses to learn some profession, so as to be able to do well in the long run. Trading is a profession which can lead to a business depending on how well you are able to do something substantial to benefit from it, but nothing good ever comes out from it, for those who decided to take it with levity without at least learning as much as they can. Day trading most especially is not for the faint hearted and those who get emotional easily, this is a style of trading you really want to be executing your strategy without any form of emotion at all.

Day trading is very difficult because this time short period term method will not success but not for swing. This day trading need small range about take profit and stop loss, most people doesn't like with that rules. Unfortunately that is the rules we should follow. One advice from me, try with demo account to understand the risk before enter the market.

In my opinion, day trading not different that other forms of trading, as you gain experience you can do it on your own and there is no need to gain any special knowledge to do it. As you gain experience, you can decide when to get in and get out.

To be honest, I believe that trading is not my cup of tea as I cannot devote the required time and flexibility in the short term but in order to learn it I have been using practical methods such as trial and error method where I invest small amount and test with multiple strategies coming out of self-research.  I have found this method useful as it exposes us to a variety of risks and environment taking place in the market every day.

I think you forgot the buy in? But yes this is one way, of speculating. You should have a basis for any trades that you have otherwise you're just gambling like in the casino.
LOL I dont think the person you quoted has anything else to do than shitposting generic posts.

Yes most people in this forum dont even own any bitcoin and are just wannabes who want to get into crypto hoping it will moon like last year. Its true that if you are going to buy then do so at a dump and not at the pump. People accidentally do the opposite because when the price is stagnant people are not interested in it, the interest grows when the pump starts. Thats the reason for getting FOMOed.

I only rely on my own practice for trading, so I will not blame others when losing, and will correct my mistakes.
many reliable traders experience losses and stay afloat because that is the challenge.
if you lose and feel bored believe your business will not be in vain, it only takes time, dont regret with you lose, someday you will get paid.
That's the kind of attitude that most manager wants and will able to stay calm in a terrible situation. And you, yourself manage to learn and handle things on your own without hesitation to try in order to learn. Day trading might seems a bit hard if you are a beginner and doesn't have any knowledge of trading yet but if they were like you the persistent one and who never blame others for their own mistake.

All you need is to wait for the dump and then sell at high. Only this is the way to succeed in trading.

My  advise  is  study more  and learn more about  TA   way  to  succeed  in trading. There  are  a lot of tutorial  out  there try  to consider  finding  another  source. It's  hard  to give  strategies  because  we are  dealing  with  different  coins.
First thing is first, before going into any sort of TA, get to know what is blockchain and how it works. Basically the reason why people panic sell is that they dont understand much about blockchain and bitcoin and want to join the bandwagon to make money and so when they see the red market they begin panic selling thinking that its the end of bitcoin.

TA is secondary to knowing the price charts as well. Learn to analyse them yourself before you seek any financial adviser. Take their advice with a grain of salt because they are nothing other than shills of altcoins.

learning day trading is nothing but practice everyday experience will only teach you day trading , there is no other way you can learn day trade only your experience will teach you
No, it is. You must learn first how to deal with pressure and what steps to be taken at which case scenario. Then practicing would give you a plus. specifically, on demo trading platform.

Trading is not easy but you can still learn it if you want to and you’re also serious about it. Signal groups are not 100% perfect so you can lose anytime, or maybe you don’t trade at the right time when you’re given the signal to trade. But it is best to learn to trade yourself so that you don’t need to be relying on these things for trade, cause they disappoint a lot.
Yes, day trading is not a pretty easy kind of job which is why people are advice to make research and always seek more knowledge about the market because the crypto keep on changing base of the demand and supply rate which I agreed with what you said above. But, disagree to what you said about joining a signal groups because alot of crypto trader end up loosing their investment through signal group joining and why joining a group when you can get all what you need on here.
