Numbers 1–3 are closely related in the sense that they talk about mitigating risk. Sometimes though, it won't seem a bad idea to borrow money to invest. The only bad idea there would be if there isn't a Plan B to repay the loan in case the investment from the loan fails. Crypto industry, just like other businesses too, is burdened with risk. We can't separate it or any other form of business from risk. On DCA, that seems a great way of avoiding shortchanging oneself in case one's entry price fails to hold. It's a technique that works.

I bought some coin recently believing I’m buying from the dip but to my surprise this just keep dipping. MY DIP HAS TURNED TO THE DIPPER, EVEN THE DIPPEST.
Their is no problem if you bought dip and you started experiencing the market going dipper,  the only solution is to hodl for sometime till when the market starts coming up. You don't have to be panic because if you sell in panic you will definitely be at loss.

Can you name the coin you bought? From dip to dipper to dippest depends on the coin you bought. While some shitcoins whose supports are weak may take you to the dippest pit faster. Then coin like btc will dip and keep consolidating. Atleast it can give you time to track your invest and make a nice decision.

4. Always use DCA (Dollar Cost Average) when buying any crypto in a bearish market: This enable you to manage your lost if more bearish is seen.
This is the solution. Keep doing DCA with small slots, then if btc risings before your DCA ending, fine because you are not losing, otherwise keep doing DCA with small slots. This is because we cannot accurately predict the bottom. Assuming we could do, the best bet would be to wait at the bottom.

Most go any length to get money to buy from this dip out of the fear of missing out. This make some to borrow money to invest which can be risky.
In cryto it is not even encouraging to invest with all the savings. If investing with all the savings one has is not good idea, I consider borrowing money to make invest should never be a plan to go about investment.

It's really not a good idea to have to use all the savings to get into crypto, if only some it might not be a problem to catch lower prices.
But if you have to use a loan to invest it will only add to the problem and add to the burden. Using a loan as capital must think about what payments will be used. there is no guarantee after using the loan the price will quickly rise, while the interest on the loan will continue to grow.

That's why its never good to use a capital came from that and much better if we just settle on the amount what we can afford to lose since eventhough we are in bad position still we will not get pressured by turn of events especially when we see market dumping for more. Maybe its best if he do cut loss and buy again since this is much ideal option to do.

Cut loss can be an option if you are sure that the price will continue to fall and buy again at a lower price. But if you're not sure, just let it go, because when you cut loss and the price goes up, there will be more losses and panic will occur.
Holding is also an option other than cutloss.

Previously, to be safer in trading settings, first Stop Loss, so that we know where to stop and cut losses.

I bought some coin recently believing I’m buying from the dip but to my surprise this just keep dipping. MY DIP HAS TURNED TO THE DIPPER, EVEN THE DIPPEST.

Lesson
1. Avoid falling prey to FOMO: Almost every investors see a bearish market as a means of entering the market. In dip period like this, everyone will love to buy and keep. Most go any length to get money to buy from this dip out of the fear of missing out. This make some to borrow money to invest which can be risky.

2. Never borrow money to invest in cryptocurrency: This is a big risk and may cause serious issue if bearish continues and more dip is seen.

3. Never use all investment in buying crypto believing it will rise soon: This also affect some people. They try to invest big in dip believing it will rise quickly so they can sell for huge profit but most end up losing to the bearish market.

4. Always use DCA (Dollar Cost Average) when buying any crypto in a bearish market: This enable you to manage your lost if more bearish is seen.

I see no wrong with that even if you did not bought them at their bottom prices. That usually happens in crypto and majority are still falling on that. But as long as you won't decide to sell them in a lower prices, then you're always safe and will never at loss. Just never spend all your life's savings believing that they will always be profitable, and always manage to invest on your extra funds, and not on money intended for emergency cases.

yes you are right that mate when you hold a cryptocurrencies it's normal that the price will go up and sometimes go down but you must focus on your goal and do not panic don't sell your coins when the price will down in order to avoid such losses or less of profit. Spending your savings or funds to investing in coins it's a bad and wrong decision because not all the times through investing you made a high profit.

Buying in the dip is not a bad idea, it only depend on what you are buying, their are some coins that can be risky to buy in the bear market like what we are experiencing now. But as for coin like bitcoin as far as one has the patience to buy and hodl their wont be any regret about it, buying Bitcoin during the dip is of good opportunity for hodlers.

Have seen some people using leverage in dip, leverage is double edged sword, it's one way to blow out all capital. Using leverage buying in dip is worse than spot buy.

Be patient, bro. I know what you feel, I also several times feel this sad thing. But no problem. Sometimes, life needs ourself experience to increase and boost up ur experience and knowledge. Based on ourself experience, we can develop our ability to see the chance of market better or not to buy or not.

1. Avoid falling prey to FOMO
It is exactly true, we don't need to panic when the price keeps falling or vice versa. Just manage and control yourself to see every chance to buy or sell the coins. If the altcoins are dropped and we are buying them because of FOMO, we may regret it because FOMO and HYPE will never be good for us, especially when we are not high-risk takers.

This is probably the most common problem that we investors do always face. Once there are dips, we eventually started buying, not realizing that it could not be the bottom of this dips. However, i see no problem about that as long as you prioritize buying bitcoin because no matter how its price drops, it will always recover again and gradually increase its price. Even when you buy bitcoin at a high value, you won't lose actually unless if you sell it a much lower price. But you could buy more coins and makes bigger profits if you can buy those coins at their dips, which needs more patience to wait for the right timing to buy.

You need to learn how to be patient as well.

There are only two possible scenarios that may happen after buying whether it goes up or turn dipper. Now since we are in the bear market, you can really expect more for the dumping trend rather than seeing it moving high.

If we are borrowing money for investment, just be sure that we have backup resources to pay the debts. We can just rely solely on crypto profit alone as we are not even sure about the market trend.
Many persons investing during the dip period really lack this patience we're talking about, they feel immediately they invest the market was supposed to pump within the next week or two but when the market trend goes contrary to their prediction they start lamenting.

That is the major problem with us because we think that investing in crypto is easy money and we have been thinking about a quick-rich scheme that has been promoted on social media encouraging people to invest. It was far different from the actual scenario and then started to blame the market which in the first place, they are the one who doesn't understand the market behavior and how it works. And I really think this never has an ending story and it add more volatility in the market.

I want you guys to cancel such mentality, lending funds to invest in cryptocurrency is not bad, the only thing is that when it result negatively you feel sad, but when it turns positive you will be courageous.
If someone borrow and invest in cryptocurrency and lose, how is he going to pay back the money? This should be what the person that wants to borrow should think about. Or if anything goes wrong, if he borrowed with collateral and he lose and the collateral got liquidated, would it not affect his life? That is another thing the borrower should also think about.

Also, generally, having a borrowing habit may not help but there are sometimes that borrowing can be necessary, if you are a working class and able to pay back with your weekly or monthly income in a way if you lose it, it will not affect your financial life, then I do not also see it as a bad idea.

my dear op, anything concerning cryptocurrency investment is all about risk measure, and for you to prosper in cryptocurrency investment you most admit and also be ready to lose, getting lose is one of the basic and general life of cryptocurrency investment, but only thing is that, when investing you most take adequate precautions
Patience is also very important, it is even the most important aspect of investing after checking the price history of cryptocurrencies to know the bull and the bear periods, to be patient and invest at the right time. No one that will wait until the bear time will lose, even if he is first losing, he will later recover the lose and make profit.

While the entry matters, the exit matters more. So even if you fell to FOMO, or used all your investment money in a single purchase, or have bought the dip only to see further dips after that, just make sure you don't give in to fear or panic. You will always be rewarded for HODLing and for being patient. Sooner or later. Just stop wishing to become rich overnight. It's one of the main reasons why a lot are disappointed.

Yeah, borrowing fund to invest in the market when it is in a downtrend season is never a bad idea but the loan have to be within the range the person can handle.
All company like Apple, Amazon, etc does this thing.

3. Never use all investment in buying crypto believing it will rise soon: This also affect some people. They try to invest big in dip believing it will rise quickly so they can sell for huge profit but most end up losing to the bearish market.

@jordansteph Crypto is never a quick to rich scheme and if an investor keeps having this impression she will always run into debt. However, the bearish market is the time for investing not selling while it is the time for ATH investors to hold for the long term.
@GeorgeJohn Admitting the risk aspect of crypto is not enough for anyone to prosper in cryptocurrency investment if the person still lacks the needed knowledge.

There is no endpoint of the dip. Be ready to accumulate some in every dip. I did the same, I was buying almost in very dip, but the market becomes more dip where my funds were empty. I failed to accumulate in the last dip. Personally, I believe we all can't buy during the bottom, the reason is we don't know exactly the bottom range. So this is a lesson that doesn't invest all in dip, then you may miss the real dip.
Since we can't predict well the bottom price everytime there is price dips, then its safe to do DCA for that. At least, we will be able to buy all its dip prices, but also it depends on the funds available for you. However, if you no good funds intended for it, just buy when there is dips, regardless if its the bottom or not, that does not matter as long as your intention is for long term hodling.

I bought some coin recently believing I’m buying from the dip but to my surprise this just keep dipping.
You probably buy too early if you expected to buy at a dipper price. After experiencing the bullish season in the previous year, we finally begin to experience a bearish season this year. So, it is just the beginning of the red market, this bearish possibly continues till the next 2 years. If we consider the market cycle every 4 years, the dippest time ideally in Q3-Q4 2022 or Q1-Q2 2023. But it is just my own prediction, not an expert, I'm an amateur.  Grin

Do more research before buying coins, I bet you didn't analyze everything deeply. So, you are affected by FOMO, buy based on the hype. Anyway, regarding the borrowed money, it is not recommended in every market situation (both bearish or bullish).

That is why we must be wise in using the money for investment in crypto, moreover during the dip market. Because we don't know when is the dip exactly, we don't know whether it is the actual dip or not. The way is by keeping and watching the market situation. If we are going to invest in certain coins, it can be done by buying step by step, so we are not all in. This is to face other dips.

That is why we keep ourselves prepared for what will happen next whether the market goes up or it drops more.
Putting our money in crypto is not I considered as high risk as long as we choose the right coins for investment. But if we choose to investment shitcoins like meme coins, you definitely have to start worrying now.

At this current market condition, we don't just be smart but have also to know how to extend our patience as well.
