Good luck with everything, splatster. You were one of the first people that conveyed a sense of security to me regarding bitcoin investments.

While I no longer have any SS shares, I would be interested to hear from smickles on this matter.
Of course S²CM will continue to fulfill its obligations to its shareholders.

I tried this once too.  Bitcoin is just too revolutionary to forget about.  When you get rid of all the bitcoins thinking that suddenly the obsession will vanish when you do, you'll find it does not.  Especially when there's volatility in the price, whether it's on its way up or down.  Good luck, see you back soon!

You can send me all of your bitcoins if you want.  I'll hold them for you on a paper wallet, and give them back to you some day in the future, untouched.

Good luck! Although I hope you will still keep some bitcoin savings around, right? You never know what the future may bring.

Leaving Bitcoin

I, Zachary J. Snow, have written this statement on the date of June 5, 2012.  Everything contained within this statement is wholly truthful and accurate.

I have come to realize that I have over extended myself in life.  I recently turned twenty-five (less than a week ago), I have a serious relationship, and my work is now taking me across the country, first to Pittsburgh and later to London.  I can no longer operate in the way that I have.  What this means is that I am leaving bitcoin.  I am going to distribute all of my bitcoin assets to people I feel helped me get to the position I am at.  While this may come at a shock to some, I feel this is the only way forward in my life.  I can't move on until I have tied up the ends which I have left open in this community, and in less than a week, I will be gone on a plane to Washington, D.C. before i go to Pittsburgh.  My humble job in this little city in Idaho allowed me to work what was essentially a second job in bitcoin, but this is no longer practical.  At this point, my way forward has only become clearer, and the way forward, unfortunately, does not involve bitcoin.

At this moment, I have no outstanding debts.  I do have to finalize a few obligations such as my business as part of S²CM and a few private deals I have brokered.  Apart from that, there is nothing else.  Be assured that I will do whatever is in the best interest of those involved in those deals, especially the shareholders of S²CM.

This is not something I have ever wanted to do, but I see no other option at this point in my life.
