it's because even Osimhen saw himself playing badly, and that is Something that seemed worrying to me

You're very quick to forget that Osimhen was away for some weeks at the AFCON and he missed a couple of matches. He's currently seating at the 3rd position on the Seria a top goal scorers chart with 14 goals in 22 matches while Martinez who he's the top scorer has 23 goals in 31 matches. That's a difference of 9, he didn't feature in 9 games and you said he did badly?

He's a fantastic striker and will always be linked to many clubs. The departure of Spalletti, coupled with how they've struggled with the two new managers could be one of the reasons he may seek for football elsewhere, but at this point no no one knows where he's heading to.

But given these things, what can be the solution? If in this case things cannot be sustained? I assume that a team is made up of 11, not just one player as good as him, also a coach cannot be so decisive, well in some cases yes, if I make a quick comparison I can immerse myself in the PL Manchester team United where they have a Ten Hag who is their caoch and he has done very badly, in fact he is the team's rpobelam only that they have not been able to remove him and the team has not prospered, in the case of Napoli well we see that to me Apparently it is both problems, the players + coach, from a professional point of view I understand that Osimhen wants to go, he is a player who dreams of winning more, so I totally understand it.

Chelsea tipped to offload huge flop in startling Victor Osimhen swap deal

Napoli have incredibly been backed to ask for Chelsea flop Mykhailo Mudryk as part of a surprise player-plus-cash deal for striker Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen was heavily linked with a Napoli exit last summer after scoring 31 goals in 39 appearances and firing the club to their first Scudetto since Diego Maradona was starring in Naples. However, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis managed to keep his star man after warning rival clubs it would take an astronomical bid ? potentially as much as £150million ? to strike a deal.

it was a particularly obvious thing, you can`t keep a player like that away from European competitions
Napoli is not able to bring itself to a decent European competition, it is not even able to bring itself to a suitable position in the rankings
so it`s good to go away, unfortunately he has no choice

it seems like you are forgetting something that the players are not at fault but the coach + owner of Napoli is.
now let's try to understand first that before Spalletti was fired, Osimhen and the other players could appear more consistent and have a very stable performance and be able to perform very perfectly in every match.
but all of that was destroyed after Spalletti was fired simply because he couldn't help Napoli get the UCL title and what's even more ridiculous is that in one season Napoli replaced the coach 3 times.
I don't want to blame any party but it really doesn't make sense if the players have to be stressed by changing coaches all the time and have to adapt quickly to every change of coach and of course the Napoli players will not be able to perform according to the new coach's strategy.

maybe that's the reason Osimhen has the desire to leave Napoli because of the selfishness of the Napoli owner which could create obstacles for a talented player like Osimhen to have a perfect career, so Osimhen wants to leave Napoli.
of course Chelsea will fail to get Osimhen for the right reasons, currently Chelsea is experiencing the same problems as Napoli even though they have many talented players but in terms of competing for the top of the standings it is always difficult and of course Osimhen chose another team which is more guaranteed to give Osimhen a future career. which is more perfect.
After this club won the title last season the team this season have been really poor and one thing that can attributed to it’s failure is the change in coaching staff. Like how do you change coaching staff about 2-3 times in a season and expect the boys to do well. These coaches come in with different philosophies and that affects the players mentality and for a team like them that with some good stars like Osimhen who is just beginning his career.

He will need consistent philosophy to be able attain his height.
this inconsistent performance has made him ready to leave the club and at this point, he has now received. Osimhen to Chelsea isn’t a bad move as the club will be able to help build him as a young player till he attains the height he wants to.

Now clubs should learn that they need stability to be able to help players build as without that the players might not be able to deliver on a stable and consistent performance and this will be really a bad one as the players tend to decline and most time want to sought better time and training including stability elsewhere.

So that why the interest in Serie A is really different from other competitions, maybe there are other big competitions such as La Liga or the English League which are also very impressive competitions in terms of competition but Serie A is very different.
In the past, Serie A produced lots of great and expensive players, of course, there was only one that could match it, namely La Liga and these two competitions used to be the best competitions even though now almost all competitions are developing rapidly.
Indeed, the only thing that other competitions cannot have is the Scudetto, which is only owned by Italian football in Serie A and the competition to win the Scudetto has always looked very competitive.

Ups and downs in performance of the Italian team really look quite significant and no team can really dominate the competition for several season, those at the bottom rise and beat those at the top and this always happens every season.
Even though only one team can win many titles, namely Juventus, the Scudetto still occurs more often in the history of Serie A football.
What truly impressive collaboration of games in competition of strength, this season Inter Milan won the championship but I sure next season there will be another team that is much stronger and will win the title.
In all time, it's been said and evident that the EPL is the most competitive. Other leagues in and around Europe are trying but none is as competitive as the EPL. There's been series of unpredictable occurences in the league and inasmuch as in other leagues where there are smaller uprising teams, there can still be lowly performing teams still but it's different in the EPL.

Smaller teams can as well occasionally mess up bigger teams which makes the league lively and fun filled. Up till this moment the trophy battle is yet to be concluded in the EPL as even the top teams are struggling to earn their place comfortably at the top spot. This is actually a battle that's seeming to last up until the final match day for the teams. Whereas it's a different scenario for other leagues.

The Bundesliga and Serie A league have produced their champions and then for the La Liga, there's even 90% probability to crown Real Madrid champions. Just a lot of reasons and evidences why EPL gives players different experience to how tough the game of football can be. I'll say again that if a player wishes to do well, then he should try succeeding in the EPL first. It more like gives first hand experience to competition and strength battle too.

If Napoli do not reach their minimum objectives, i.e. to play at least in the Europa League, they will most likely have to give up their best players, and at this rate I believe that at least Osimhen is the one who will most likely say goodbye to Napoli and Serie A, PSG has been on his trail for some time and he will certainly be the one to replace Mbappe

not only that, if you saw he drew but in this case it is not really at fault
Some teams like Udinese and Sassuolo will fight tooth and nail not to end up in Serie B, Sassuolo beat Inter, realize this thing
so, ok Inter win the scudetto but lost vs Sassuolo isnt a good one, but Sassuolo fight good

It really started to look like an inevitable ending for Napoli.  Sad  Because they have nothing left in their hands. Not even a Champions League place... It is really difficult to keep players like Osimhen for long years in this situation. Probably Osimhen will get an official offer by some big clubs this summer. I expect him to consider leaving seriously.

Spalletti left and Napoli simply fell apart. We have seen many coaches after him. I'm not a fan of changing coaches too often honestly. Napoli board look really impatient. I wonder what they will do this summer.  Huh

https://sport.sky.it/calcio/serie-a/2024/05/06/cannavaro-udinese-napoli-intervista-video

the new coach Cannavaro says that they achieved a good result, I also think that this time it`s true
Udinese urgently needs to score points so they are really angry and the result isn`t bad. We have to see what happens in the next games and especially next season. We can`t judge his performance with a single match.

It is clear that with Osimhen`s departure everything becomes more complicated

I believe that even if they win every single game they play after this period, they will still sell Osimhen at the end of the season. They realize that they could have sold him for 100 million last season, and more like 70 to 80 range this season and if they play him one more season then it could be 50 million, there is no need to lose even more money on this transfer, they should try to find the team with the biggest budget for a striker and sell him right away.

I still assume that Liverpool will be the one, because they are rich enough and they could afford to pay a lot, plus they are getting rid of Nunez after this season and if their new manager Arne is fine with it, they are going to definitely want to buy Osimhen out, to finally have a good striker.

I won't be surprised if Napoli will let go of their most important players during the summer transfer because I don't see the points for some of them to remain as long as the club won't make big transfer and we all know that Napoli prefers to not make big investments and instead they prefer to make money from transfers and we cannot blame them.

Meanwhile , Monza is playing better and better with each round passing by and today it was no coincidence that they draw against Lazio and almost had them in 2nd half so Lazio should be happy they took 1 point.  Grin

Hahaha of course because Serie A is one of the favorite competitions because there is always amazing competition and the Scudetto or new champions occur more often in every season.
Match will take place today Torino vs Bologna and we will see how the result of this match is and how the position of the standings shifts in the final phase of the competition which is really little closer to being resolved.
But it would be very interesting if Juventus could beat Roma in Week 35 and Bologna managed to beat Torino, this clearly means that Roma can't do much to reach the end with better ranking.
Competition for third place will definitely occur when Juventus meets Bologna in Week 37 and whoever wins that match will definitely be the team that can strengthen its position as the top 3.
This is my hope for the remaining competition matches which are almost finished, if it really happens then I will be very happy because Serie A this season is full of fierce competition.

the Italian championship is the most beautiful of all because it is the one where many teams can win the scudetto, quite the opposite of other championships such as the Brazilian one, where the teams that win are always those two and that`s it, how boring!
instead here you never know how it can end, one season you win the scudetto, the next season you are in mid-table and you don`t even get to the Champions League

Just when I expected Fiorentina to actually go 3 wins a row , they managed to lose against Verona ? I also believe that they had 1 penalty in the last minute of the game which the VAR didn't want to give but also Verona 2nd goal was from a handball that once again VAR didn't interfere at all... . It's like they don't want to see Fiorentina having a chance for those last spots of Conference League because they are also out from the CUP , they are 6 points behind Lazio and they only chance seems to be to win Conference this year.  Embarrassed

Oshimen suffered an injury which required him to miss several matches so it is very natural that he is left behind in the list of top scorers in Serie A and was beaten by Martinez who scored more goals than Oshimen because Martinez himself played 9 more matches than Osimhen, maybe if Osimhen not injured and not missing 9 matches, he is still a strong competitor to Martinez as the top scorer in the Italian League, he is also still the best striker.

Yes, maybe that's the reason why Osimhen can't perform optimally like before, a change in coach makes the chemistry between players different and a change in strategy can also affect the player's performance, maybe if Oshimen has found his rhythm again he will be a scary striker again like before, if he wants to move he He has to think carefully about the club he will go to. I also heard that PSG is interested in bringing him to France to replace Mbappe.

Regardless of the rumors about which team Osimhen is linked with, I am sure that Osimhen will not stay at Napoli again next season, there are certainly many considerations for Osimhen that require him to leave so that his career can develop further.
A big loss for Napoli due to their downturn this season and the most influential one being their not qualifying for the Champions League next season, this has little influence on players' interest in remaining in the Napoli team, especially a quality player like Osimhen.

If Spalletti stayed longer maybe Napoli were going to qualify for the Champions League much easier. It would have been effective to convince Osimhen also. But we can't do anything with maybes of course. :/

Calzona is the 3rd manager Napoli have signed in the same season. This is really scary truthfully. Napoli can't even be confident enough to sign longer contracts lately. Calzona's contract is ending this summer for now and probably they will part ways with him also. Who is next then?  Huh  Conte and Pioli are currently strongest candidates. Conte would be much better if they convince him.

I believe that, and logically it certainly won't throw away players who have been bought and just sit on the bench, I don't doubt Luis Enrique because I know how he works, it's proven that he employs several stars to the maximum in every match, Osimhen shouldn't be eating blind salaries there, but if at Liverpool maybe this will be a question because Klopp will leave and we don't know who his replacement is and it will be a big question if Osimhen's purchase before Klopp's exit whether he will be employed to the maximum to build Liverpool's strength or not.

Talking about Ten Hag we know how he ignores Ronaldo who in my opinion still deserves to be hired very well but he sits more.

BTW speaking of Napoli, then who will replace Osimhen? of course this team will get worse if it doesn't get a better replacement than Osimhen.

I have also seen how things are in this, and clearly what stresses the Neapolitans the most, who can replace him? It's difficult, who do they have in their sights? Or are you simply planning to sell it and eat the profits? The truth is I don't believe it, what they achieved last season they threw Overboard , it's because even Osimhen saw himself playing badly, and that is Something that seemed worrying to me, a team that has wasted all the Opportunities it had to win the Series A , it's because they don't really care much, so I think everything is going to become a business that can't go any further, well that's my point of view, regarding Klopp and it's a shame that they hire Osimhen, because It will benefit another coach.

Victor Osimhen has already made summer transfer 'plan' amid Liverpool 'interest'

Quote
Liverpool could be in the market for a new forward this summer. Arne Slot will be inheriting a talented roster already, but one that comes with more than a couple of question marks attached.

Through the middle, there's a line of thinking that buying someone like Victor Osimhen is the only way out of the perennial Darwin Núñez finishing dilemma. Liverpool has not generally struggled for chance creation this season, but an inability to put them away has ultimately cost Jürgen Klopp a great chance of the Premier League title.

I'll give you half a reason friend, once upon a time Serie A was considered the most beautiful league in the world, that was until the end of the 90's where the Scudetto was contested by Juventus Milan Inter Roma Napoli Sampdoria. But since the 2000s everything has changed and the teams trying to win the Scudetto are always the same, Juventus Milan Inter. Unfortunately for us the best league now is the premier league

I don't know if Liverpool is really interested in signing Osimhen. They spreaded these rumours last summer also but Liverpool didn't made any offer. They have started to link them again but I don't know.  :/  Nunez is better than last season but there is no consistency. Salah is also likely to leave. Maybe these things would strengthen the possibility of a move for Osimhen?

Chelsea might also enter the race for Osimhen but this is also a rumour for now. Jackson doesn't deserve to in the starting eleven and Nkunku is getting injured so often.

De Laurentiis would try to keep Osimhen but it won't be easy without even joining the Champions League.  Sad
