No matter how many times Roma changes coaches and they don't sell out some players, their performance will always be subpar. I don't think there is a problem with the Roma coach; after he takes over, the team performs well for two to three games before faltering once more. From that point on, I realised that the coach is not to blame for the team's poor performance; if you watch the team perform and the way the players play on the field, you will also realise that Roma needs to sell out some players.
Roma's season-ending performance in the Europa League will be greatly disappointing, as their primary goal was to qualify for the Champions League the following year, which is why they changed coaches this season. Despite this setback, they will still be disappointed. My only recommendation for Roma would be to simply sell some of the squad's underperforming players.
Roma really needs to raise some funds one way or another. This is the only way to build a better squad otherwise they will continue to struggle in debt.
The current squad is still enough to play big in the Europa League maybe. But qualifying for the Champions League must be their main target at this very moment. They couldn't do it with Mourinho and I doubt they will now also. I hope that Roma will use their funds as effective as possible this summer. Even if they manage to finish this season in top 4 they still had better do it. Because a stronger squad would be needed for the CL too.
In fact, regarding AS Roma financial problems, there is no need to do much because Thomas Dan Friedkin the owner of AS Roma is also billionaire who has enormous wealth, plus previously there were many rumors saying that AS Roma had an investment offer from Saudi.
All of this will clearly make things easier for AS Roma and they are unlikely to have problems related to debt, but there is no clarity regarding all of this whether an agreement has actually occurred or not.
Moreover, AS Roma has not shown satisfactory achievements such as winning championship title, this may be one of the reasons why the owner of AS Roma is not very generous in spending money on the team he owns.
If this season AS Roma can qualify for the UCL next season then I sure it will be easier and easier to overcome financial problems because the owner of AS Roma will definitely do anything including spending large amounts of money for the development of AS Roma.
But it looks like they won't be able to qualify for the UCL next season and the only thing left is the Europa League, conditions like this will be the same as last season.
It will be very difficult for AS Roma to reach the top 4 rankings this season, and not to mention if there is change of coach again, that will make AS Roma condition less stable and consistent.
