I tried many times to participate in airdrops, but it did not bring me any results. There were cases that I had to provide KYC, and after a while I realized that I was a fool. The only time I received a reward for the Coinsbit air drop, and even in this case, the team deceived the participants by making a swap during distribution and the team itself, in one hour, at night, collapsed the prices of the coin, blocking users from entering the resource. I have a very bitter experience of participating in airdrop.
Did you try the suggestion of OP? What he considers legitimate airdrops that will surely make you profit? I think what you experienced is common towards these airdrops. Surely you are not alone with that, but it’s disappointing to make an effort and lose the things you do right after.

Because they are Airdrops from legit projects and they are officially available to the masses? What my own coin you talking about? I'm not holding any of these coins, I'm here to pinpoint few legit airdrops for airdrop hunters, if you aren't one then avoid the post, you don't have to ridicule
I'm sorry if you have taken it the wrong way. I'm not trying to ridicule you. It's just that most airdrops have almost zero to no value of coins.

That's what I'm asking you. How do you characterize it as legit? So you said that since it's available to the masses, it's already legitimate? Did you mean that it's already on the exchange? I'm just asking you, and there's no ridicule happening.

We need not follow every airdrop because most of the Airdrops are completely fraud, even though we are getting a reward but there won't be any value to the coin, now a days, most of the exchanges allowing the companies in order to launch the launchpools in this way, by holding those we might get concerned Airdrops which we will get the benefits.

true, i tried lately to join airdrops and try my luck, maybe i could get like 20$ or something, but i ended up wasting my time for nothing,
most of them either give you a very small amount or absolutely nothing, most of those airdrops that only require to do tasks like joining their
telegram channel or following their twitter etc... are fake, it's better not waste your time on them.
You can't get low amount from this Airdrops most especially DIA and Aavax because their value are very good unlike many useless airdrop tokens, the more DIA you hold the higher DIA tokens you get, the main reason why I create this post is to point to real Airdrops not the scam ones

How does this qualify as a legitimate airdrop? Does it have to include your own coin and be invested in that? Does it seem that you need to be a holder first to earn those "quality coins"?

Mostly all I have read with the recent airdrops and almost all airdrops sucks. It's a token that wouldn't have any value towards anything.

I think those airdrops are legit as i see them on thier designated group chat,. Majority of the airdrop is you need to have thier token in order to recieve reward, but if you dont have it you should buy them in order to be eligible for the reward.

Have you vested on those airdrop mate? How can you prove that these are legit airdrops and others are scams?
Anyway Will check back on this after the airdrop and lets see what comes in your pockets for this one.
legit airdrops are easy to identify, usually they are distributed by companies that already have a working project, I try to choose the more famous ones that sharing airdrops, everything else is random!

So what is your assessments on these listed above?so you clearly say about they are easy to identify?
from what i've learn Majority are scam so please prove me wrong.

Majority of airdrop is yes scam, but there are program that build already their reputation and it's not like regular airdrop that we join before they ask different task for that.

The good thing about it is they are already in development unlike most airdrop which is only starting to build their community for giving a free tokens or coins to any one.
those airdrops that came from let say binance was harder than a common airdrop because they usually ask for full ktc verification , owning specific amount of coins , become a top trader or a top referer and more harder task that you can imagine . they promise a higher reward but what if there were also other participants that joined and not only you ? you can end up getting reasonable amount of coins . we are talking about the airdrops on the list above and few are trusted , the one that has a binance partnership and dia but the rest its only my first time hearing them .

Interested in airdrops is a waste of time, it's like looking for gold in the sand, we will get more tired. However, sharing your list is a good job because some people are interested in it, which helps them a little.
What? didn't you even read the thread before trying to make a comment about that? This is a legit airdrop but it looks like DIA airdrop can be categorized as staking airdrop.
You need to keep your DIA token for up to 30 days, 60 days or 90 days to receive the full airdrop. It's worth 30% of your total investment in dia airdrop.
You should learn more about that dude. It looks like you don't read it carefully.

If you read and just follow the link, the answers are already there.
just hold and they will reward you.
DIA is good IMO since it is rebuilding its way from the recent KUCOIN hack.

I am not interested in airdrop because it's a total waste of time. You will receive a few tokens with no value or just a little value $2, $4, $5 too small and waste of time and most of the airdrop are scam. Much better to trade or join a good bounty campaign than joining in airdrop.

Imo compiling a list of 'legit airdrops' is counterproductive cause users are hardly interested in airdrops now, the tokens could look free, but in reality you're actually not getting anything at all, it's much better to invest time into crypto related things that'll be more productive than airdrops, trading for example, learning more about the BTC network, eth is about to launch 2.0, not a bad time to join the ethereum network etc.

You prolly wanted to help users filter good/bad airdrops, and the intention may not be bad, but airdrops are pretty much bad for the network in itself as they bring more news about scam since many of them end of being one. That being said, users who are prolly still interested in Airdrops till now could still be interested in the op, but I'll honestly advice them to focus on more productive things on the crypto network for long term ROI.

It's a shame people don't know what this guy is trying to do here, these projects aren't scam projects like ninety nine percent of Airdrops out there, Avax and dia aren't some stupid projects, they are big, if I'm into Airdrops I would gladly join these instead, there is assurance of not wasting my time
If indeed all the projects on the list are good, then everyone will always join in there, because everyone also has research and analysis on each project, so if you think all the projects are good and are sure you won't waste your time, then go ahead monitored and never miss it.

This is a very good initiative. This topic will be helpful for those who want to participate in airdrop. Because it is difficult to find legit airdrop among thousands of airdrop.
But nowadays the payment of airdrop is worthless. Some payments are so low that it doesn't meet transaction fee.

May I know what could be your basis for listing down those as a legit airdrop? Also I've seen some airdrops where in they really do give their rewards but unfortunately some of them dump their tokens and could really tell that it has no value at all.
