yes you are right it is not so much worth to take a huge risk and in this type of situation we need to trust only there existing and more popular sites otherwise making conference with new things will always been very risky.

No experience with the first one but I have experience with stake and I can vouch they are reputable.

I would assume that Zombiewager decided to start advertising their site again and started going through gambling discord servers and pasting the link to their site there; to be fair, there's very little information on the website so it's normal that someone would ask if a site like this is legit. Because it's safer! To be sure that the site is legit and pays you have to risk money first or hope that others will risk their money and write about it.
It's the casino owner's job to make the risk worth it for you - the customer. If I am to test a new site I'm not going to do it for free.
