Did you bother looking at the trust page of the borrower? Did you bother looking up his post history? No, you say? It shows. He's made a total of 16 posts so far this year (with that throwaway account anyway,) four of which were loan requests. Three got denied, lol. Roll Eyes

It's been nearly 42 hours since you've sent the money, and this worthless account has yet to log on to confirm that he's received your generous ~~gift~~ loan.

By rights I should have used negative on that one asking for non-collateral loans. No doubt others will too.

It's not required, but certainly worth doing. It helps notify the rest of the community that the member already has an open loan.

Just my 2 cents: I think you were in too much of a hurry to grant this loan.
I hope I screw up, but the guy had a neg trust released by shasan .
Furthermore, if you go to check the subject's latest activities, you will see that he has received very few merits, which means that it is an account that is worth little or nothing. I hope I'm wrong and I wish you all the best.

Whilst I welcome and appreciate Timelord's concerns about safety, I will do any trade on my terms (if I decide to go down that road) and it's up to people interested to accept the terms or not - respect has to be mutual and the understanding has to be there too as well as trust.

At least that way I retain control whilst also allowing the person I deal with the freedom to have a loan accepted.
